# Have we come to an agreement then? I doubt that devil down there is going to maintain patience-# smiling sinisterly, the God of Mystery looked at the others who were hesitant.

{ I'm against it. } God of Vengeance cut in again.

@ Of course you are~@ scoffed the God of beauty.

{I'll be the one of reason if I have too, a war-chip is one that transcends these mortals. That boy and his earth have just barely been integrated into the system. Not to mention we do have more qualified players, veterans and even guides as already mentioned. Let's not forget, we still have no clue why we weren't allowed to come here for nearly 4 years. A war-chip is our last chance to have any fight against them.}

*You say that as if we ever had a chance, you forget we are no different from them down there. Just a bit more powerful.* spat an anonymous Devil, no one however said anything to their words. They simply disregarded it as most of them hated that notion of thought.

€I agree with the God Of Vengeance, your infatuation with this mortal does not involve us. € the God of Truth in annoyance moved to sit down and grab a bundle of grapes.

Chuckling under his breath, the God of mystery made his way over to the God of truth and whisper something in her ear that had her crush all the grapes glaring at him.

€ I would kill you if I could € she whispered spat.

#Oh I know you would… but you can't#

£ So, why give him his own tower? £ The demoness of Dysphoria asked.

#For the reasons stated by the God of Vengeance~ he's far behind due to the strange error this earth went through. But as I've stated and as you all have witnessed-he's far superior in power regardless. Not to mention he doesn't have a contractor, so what would happen if we made it mandatory for him to choose? He's been set up into our hands because of his mistake~#

ç So how would we force him to pick when he's not interested? We already have those of his Earth tracking through dungeons looking for fucken something. ç rolling his eyes the demon of Blood and tears stuck his long claw into a human eyeball and ate it slowly savouring the flavour.

‰ I was wondering what they'd been up too, they were trying to find a specific dungeon that appeared and disappeared. Apparently a mortal cam out of it ‰ spoke up the god of Architecture.

_ We are getting off topic. How about a vote? The God Of Mystery doesn't take an interest in mortals often and from what I've seen. He seems competent enough to be classified as a war-chip with guidance. If that has to be with a tower of the upmost hardest level, so be it. He won't die of course but he won't be able to leave till he finishes. It's quite risky, this same discussion lost us the ability to put forth our team last time. _ said the Demon of Space.

*I can agree to a vote*

The atmosphere was tense as Deblis on his guard stood in front of Sion. He wasn't about to let this guy die, especially not when his God and contractor wanted to form a contract with him. In fact he even got a Quest to ensure Sion would stay alive by not just his God but the system strangely enough. But that wasn't the worse part, the system was like a higher being in itself even if not alive?- if he didn't keep Sion alive and keep it a secret that he even got the quest, he would die. This wasn't the first time either.

> Penalty : Death (You will die immediately)

It was more a threat than a warning even with such a tempting reward, the devil in charge of the arena was growing more bored by the second. Not to mention he hadn't done anything to quench the anger of those around them had. In fact there was eyes all around them, yelling and shouting, some even threw things at them. But none dared moved closer, why?

'Because this woman was holding them all at bay even with her injuries' speaking his thoughts out loud in his head he had been watching the one called Franes. Her form was half altered like that of a large cat and human combined, much like he had read about. Granted neither him nor Sion had stayed after the new system had been implemented. His mission was to guide but he only received one pupil, why? It was anyones guess. In fact, the reason he went so far for Sion was the very first message he got from what could have only been the system?

What the first line said he could only read what was there 'Keep Safe', why the system would go so far for him was truly bizarre. 'Besides the system wasn't a somebody… at least not to knowledge'.

Sion hadn't moved but he was awake, he could hear all the commotion around him. But his mind was preoccupied by those glowing eyes. A being that strong had put him into shock, his body didn't want to move even if he could. Even though at first his body had gone into fight from a fight or flight response. He now stayed motionless-

What was more weirder than his body's late fear response even with his skills active, was the fact '02' seemed to be malfunctioning even when previously stating operational functions.

He could see it.

Numbers,

Non-stop, coding almost.

Although barely visible to normal eyes, with his eyesight they might as well be slapping him in the face.

2.3748219732374-821973237482.19732374.82197.

2374821973237482197334-76291027843780128.

64.147209-21.942400

His mind was throbbing from the constant feeding of numbers. Sadly it wasn't enough to take his mind off of the pain through his very being!

"Hey kid, you doing alright?" Came a familiar voice as Sion side eyed to see Deblis on guard by him.

"You fuckers! You take one step closer and I'll rip you apart!" 'Seems like her second gender's personality caught up to her more' Sion smiled to himself as he remembered when they first met. She would try so hard to keep up appearances. Sure she hadn't cared what people thought back then and sure she was reckless. But she cared for her modeling team and agency like family, so she'd never do anything that would conflict with that lifestyle or reflect badly on them.

"It seems like a lot happened while I was away…" he muttered as Fran picked up on his words as she punched someone in the face. Although violence usually isn't permitted during the arena contest. The devil had grown so bored that he simply didn't care no more, not to mention repairs were being done and more than half the arena and participants were either dead, severely injured or angry.

Sion didn't particularly feel remorseful even though he should have. Death was normal to him now. Funny how he went from a wimp fully bullied for being weak to someone who perceived and dealt death so calmly. But as Fran pointed out, his personality was shaped weirdly and his skills didn't exactly help his issue with emotions.

He blamed the beast mostly even if it wasn't the main culprit.

"They are finally done deciding. I'll be honest with you. Sion, your too strong. For whatever reason you lashed out for, you managed to break my right leg. No one under my guidance has even been able to land such a critical hit on me, even by surprise. Even before that my instincts are always fighting me to run away from you. I know you're strangely unaware of it yourself because you never show knowledge of how you come off to people, even when angry. What I'm trying to say is, you're going to be used. Even if you lack a contractor, God or zodiac, you've given them a perfect chance to force your hand." Deblis looking up saw the God Of Mystery himself and frowned.

"They are going to either kill you here or spare you, so I'll say this,if they decide to kill you because they cannot control you. Run and I'll hold them off." Hearing Deblis's sudden pact had Sion's eyes widened.

"You're not saying what I think you are?" Sion said as his mind jumped through a thousand reasons why he'd be saying this.

"I've lived a long life and death isn't something someone should fear."

#You should leave before I make that God of yours lose a contractor~# Although the God Of Mystery spoke those words so nonchalantly. His eyes glowing behind his mask spoke volumes of displeasure.

But Deblis didn't move, in fact he pulled out a gun and aimed it at the God.

#Bawhahaahaha, you're not serious right? Shouldn't you wait to hear a verdict before pointing weapons?~#

"Anything that comes out of your mouth is usually just as bullshit as that outfit you wear." Spat Deblis as the God Of Mystery laughed.

#I might have to have a word with your God Deblis. Send them my regards.#

In a blink of a moment everyone was gone and only Sion and The God Of Mystery remained.

#You intrigue me to no end to a point I want to ask the God Of Time this time, to rip you open, again.#

How could he have forgotten passing out from the amount of pain this God had caused him?
