21 Chapter 21: Roasting a juicy pig.

Zhu Dingxiang touched his ears, but the moment he touched them he felt a jolt.

"Ahhh~" He unconsciously letting out a moan. As if shocked by electricity, the furs on his tails rise and he felt goosebumps all over his body.

He doesn't have fox ears on the top of his head, but his ears have become more sensitive, sharp, and long just like elves.

"Damn! That was embarrassing, I wasn't expecting that coming." Zhu Dingxiang couldn't even imagine it happened in a public place, all his face would have gone like a puff of smoke.

Taking a moment to recover, he makes a mental note to be very careful in the future. Zhu Dingxiang walked out of the caves only to discover Little White and Little Chibi laying at the entrance leisurely.

"I'm back! Do you two miss me?"

Little White's ears twitch upon hearing the familiar voice, she stands up and turned around. But before she could take a step forward, she stopped on the spot frozen and looked dumbfounded.

Little Chibi just floating over without a care in the world and just nudging Zhu Dingxiang's face with its big head. His bloodline awakening has taken 3 full days, the little guy was missing his roasted meat.

Having only eating Zhu Dingxiang's roasted meat for months, Little Chibi already getting used to it. So while Zhu Dingxiang was gone for 3 days, little Chibi feels sad and keep sneaked a peek inside the cave once in a while.

After being stunned for a moment, Little White just snorted before walking to Zhu Dingxiang and laid down again.

Seeing Little Chibi try to act cute and spoiled, Zhu Dingxiang just smiles gently before taking out a big fat pig. After he finishes cleaning the boar, he tied it to a wooden pole with vines.

With the salts and spices from the Blackstone village, he makes a simple sauce and mixing it with some wild herbs. He dumps the seasoning inside the cavity of the pig and closes it before lighting up a fire.

Now comes the labor-intensive part where it requires some patience. Because the size of the pig is very large, about 5 meters tall, and weighed a few tons. Zhu Dingxiang has to control the fire with his nature Qi otherwise it would take days for the pig to cook with normal fire.

As Zhu Dingxiang continuously revolving and turn the pig to keep the heat even, all those herbs and spices on the inside bagan to soaked and embed into the meat.

"Ahh~ This smells and looks amazing." Zhu Dingxiang smiled as he looks at Little Chibi flying around the fire excitedly.

"Be careful or you might get yourself burned."

It's been 1 hour into the roasting and the pig's skin is already started to turn golden brown.

"Sizzle…Sizzle…Crackle!" As the fats are melted and dripping onto the fire, it created sizzling sounds. The sizzling sounded just like a special tune of music that calmed the soul, making one feels warms and at peace.

Zhu Dingxiang is rotating the pig at a precise speed, its skin is crackling as it turns. The pig is like a perfectly designed vessel to be roasted and cooked in its fats that couldn't be described in words.

Zhu Dingxiang enjoying this process of roasting the pig very much, it feels very relaxed as he never has a chance like this in his last life. Life wasn't easy and all he ever wished for was the strength to endures whatever came for him.

Smelling the intense aroma that is engulfing the air, Little White looks at Zhu Dinxiang her eyes shining like a full moon. Her tail wagging nonstop and began to rub her face into his chest. Seeing she finally came over to him, he laughed lightly.

"You foodie little thing." Zhu Dingxiang said as he gently stroked her furs with his long and slender fingers.

Seeing the roasted pig is ready, he cut a small portion for himself before splitting the rest between Little White and Little Chibi.

"Crispy roasted pig never gets old." Zhu Dingxiang never had the chance to experience the top gourmet in his last life. However, he believes that this roasted pig has surpassed them by a fair margin. While he is not an expert at cooking, but the taste of the pig itself is already heavenly.

Although little Chibi is small, he is eating as much as little White if not more. This is where he finds it strange, little Chibi seems to sleep a lot these days and very lazy.

Looking at the pretty blue jade gourd hanging on his waistband, he shook his head. This pretty gourd was the container of the Three-tails Starlight-Fox bloodline he gets from the altar. After Zhu Dingxiang fused with the bloodline, the gourd remains and he pretty much likes it so he hangs it on his waist as an ornament.
