"How did you know he was interested in school?" He finally asked.

"He brought over a picture of me on campus and showed his interest in the library. Damon and I are taking him to a library today."

"That's awesome. Would you like me to join you?" He offered.

"Yeah. I'm sure Angel would love you to." She was ready to end the call, only for him to call her out for changing the topic a moment ago.

"Vivi, I have never expected you to trust me after what I kept a secret from you. I know it's going to take you ages. It could even take years."

"And that's okay?" She wondered aloud. Since when was he sensible?

"I would never force you to feel or do anything you don't. Take your time with it, okay?" He assured her.
