18 The Training Battles

All Might and a large group of students are standing in a bunker like building which is filled with screens showing the students who are currently undergoing the drill.

What drill you may ask?

--A few minutes earlier.--

Inside the bunker All Might then declares, "Now we will be doing a exercise. I will split you all into teams of two, one team will be the heroes, the other will be the villains.

The Villain team will have to defend a bomb until the fifteen minutes are up, or defeat the Hero teams members.

The Hero team either has to touch the bomb before the time runs out or defeat the Villain team. Is that understood?"

"Yes sir!" Everyone except next declares in unison.

All Might then nods before looking around, "The reason we are doing this drill is because most of the time that we fight villains outside, but if you look up the numbers, atrocious villains appear indoors at a higher rate.

Imprisonment, house arrest, and backroom deals. In this hero filled societies, truly intelligent villains hide in the shadows. Like I said, for this drill you will be split into teams and fight 2 on 2 in an indoor setting.

"Now, the first match will be between the Hero Team which will have young Izuku and young Itachi, and the Villain Team which will have Young Madara and Young Kendra."

--On The Field--

--Madara's POV--

"So, what can you do?" I ask Kendra. Kendra is a short 5ft 2 inches girl with hazel green eyes, pale skin, and long silver hair with bangs covering her left eye. Her hero suit is a skin tight purple and silver bodysuit which nicely clung to her toned but mature body and black combat boots.

She then looks me up and down before replying in slightly shaky japanese with a strange accent, "Um, my quirk is super speed. I can move at incredibly fast but since my reaction speed can't keep up with my speed I can only travel in short bursts."

Ignoring the accent, I nod, "I see." I then nod, "If that's the case then you should use your speed to blitz around town and get behind the bomb building which is located here." I state while pointing to a large 20 story building in the middle of the city.

"While you do that, I will attack from the front and try to draw them out. I will warn you though, in all likelihood I will only be able to draw one of them out. My bet is that Izuku will be the one to come out and fight me. Leaving my brother to you." I state calmly.

She nods, "W-what should I expect from your brother?"

I then look up at her with a serious expression, "If I had to be honest, Itachi is the most dangerous of the three of us. I am the strongest, but Itachi is no pushover in strength either.

What truly makes him dangerous is his intelligence. When you face him he most certainly have a plan. And no matter what you do, do not look into his eyes."

She nods, "G-got it. Let's begin."

--Itachi's POV 3rd person--

Izuku and I are standing in front of map in a large room on the highest floor on the building next to the bomb. Izuku is wearing a light forest green suit with black armor pads spread throughout it complimenting it well. (Basically his original suit without the stupid mask lol.)

"What should we expect?" Izuku asks Itachi.

Itachi sighs, "This is going to be a pain. Well, let's get underway. I'm going to tell you right now that Madara is going to attack head on. He'll try and draw us out, try to fight us head on. The anomaly is Kendra.

I have no clue what her capabilities are and no clue what her tendencies are despite seeing her perform during the tests. She didn't seem to have used her quirk during them and only seemed to be naturally athletic. To be safe we must be ready to respond to all possibilities. To do so we must have one person at the bomb at all times."

Itachi then looks up to Izuku, "What can you do?"

Izuku looks up, "My quirk is Extreme Physical Enhancement, but as you've probably see, my body can't yet handle it though se whenever I use it I break the bones of where I channel it. Besides that and 2 years of martial art experience. Besides that not much else."

Itachi raises his eyebrow, "No, you under credit yourself. While you were trying to gather information on Madara earlier I saw your notebook. Your deduction and decision making skills are good. Your also quite skilled at analysing opponents."

Izuku hearing this looks at Itachi in surprise. "So what's the plan?"

Itachi sighs, "Your going to fight Madara out front while I stay here to guard the bomb."

Izuku raises his eyebrows and nods, "What's my chances of beating him?"

Itachi can't help but chuckle, "Beat him? Your chances is almost none. Maybe 5% at best and that's giving you the benefit of the doubt. The reason I'm sending you to fight him is because your quirk is heavily restricted by buildings where mine is not.

With that said that doesn't mean you won't be able to stall Madara. Madara has the bad habit of playing with his opponents. He tends to draw out the fight slowly forcing you reveal all your trump cards. Once you do he'll then crush you into the dirt."

Hearing about the crushing part causes Izuku to gulp.

Itachi sighs, "I recommend that you withhold your full strength for as long as possible to keep Madara entertained. You do that, and we might have a chance at winning."

Izuku nods. "Got it."

At that moment, in view from the window, Madara casually turns down onto the street that leads to the front of the building and begins walking forward.

"Speak of the devil." Itachi mutters before turning to Izuku. "Your up."

Izuku nods, "I won't let you down."

With that, he runs and jumps out the window and flies towards the ground. At last second Izuku's fall is slowed by a cord attached to his back which he had connected to the window sill where he jumped from.

Izuku the reaches the ground and lands comfortably. Reaching behind him, he then releases the cord causing it to wind all the way up back to the window sill.

Izuku, now a little queasy from what he had just done looks up at Madara weakly. Seeing this mountain, this man, no this obstacle in front of him, glaring down at him, he grits his teeth and shakes his head. 'I can't afford to cry and be weak right now. If I want to win, I have to be strong. 5%. I have that chance. I will pull it off!'

Izuku then steels his nerves the best he can and stares defiantly at Madara, "You won't be going any further."

Madara then smirks, "Ho? And your going to stop me?"

--In The Bunker--

All Might smiles, "So it seems that Kendra is going to circle around the back and attempt to sneak in while Madara attacks from the front. What do you all think of this plan?"

Momo then speaks up, "I believe that the plan is not bad. The defenders have a large advantage while inside the building thanks to the fact that they are the only ones with a map of the layout. Going 2 on 2 in their would not be a good idea for the villains.

By drawing one out and making it a 1 on 1 inside the building, the chances of success for the villina team go up since Itachi can't leave the bomb to search for them. By drawing one out it limits the defensibility of the bomb significantly."

All Might nods, "Quite a good analysis miss Momo. Now, the question is, how will the fight outside play out?"
