43 True Friend II

Eric had felt this feeling before.

It's almost the same as back then. Not only does he feel appreciated, but he feels cared for as well. What makes it all the more special is that everything about it is genuine and sincere - she's really well-meaning and appreciative, indeed.

Yet at the same time, there's this difference. Although he can finally see her, he's not certain if what he's looking at is the real one or not. He doesn't know if her appearance is only deceiving him. While he knows that something like that doesn't really matter, he can't help but be a little troubled. 

Then again, if Eric is only going to end up falling for Seraphine, he wants to be sure about it. 

He doesn't want to find himself torn between two unrelated persons.

"You're absorbed in your own thoughts again. You do that a lot," she giggled out of nowhere, stealing back his attention.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I got distracted," he apologized, pulling himself together.
