84 Chapter 84: In His Arms

Celestiel gasped awake, her eyelids snapping open, revealing her big, golden eyes which now glowed a bright gold. She breathed in deep, slow and hard, as though the air which entered her lungs wasn't enough.

"Celestiel," a familiar, nostalgic voice hit her ears and she immediately turned her head, only to find Sebastian sitting upright in the chair he sat. He looked disheveled, his dark, long hair which had been tied in a bun was tousled, the high bun had turned slightly undone. He still wore formal clothes, but it looked ruffled, the sleeves rolled up to his fore arms and the buttons undone.

Celestiel didn't realise when she jumped into his arms until she was already there, firmly held by a pair of strong, warm arms circled around her body like a protective blanket.

The tears pouring down her cheeks wouldn't stop. She cried into his shoulder, pouring the pain she felt into every sob.
