Chapter 37: White Wings Stained Red III

"Did you hear that?," Sebastian turned to Leonore asking.

"The gunshot? Most definitely," Leonore replied.

Sebastian's eyes narrowed as he looked towards the forest. The gunshot didn't sound like it had been too far off.

He made his way down the ship, swift in his steps as he sprinting ashore and towards the now silent forest.

Silva was relentless as her teeth dug deep into the flesh of Celestiel's attacker.

He voiced a series of curses, trying to kick off the creature from his leg. Occupied by the tiny creature, he didn't notice Celestiel stumble to her feet, raising her dagger to stab him until too late.

She brought her dagger down on his shoulder, causing him to yell out in pain and on impulse, hit her with his arm.

It was a strong attack, one Celestiel hadn't expected. She fell to the side with a grunt, her fingers digging into the soil.
