Chapter 033: Torture
It had been three weeks since Arthur's departure for the Seizent area. Esther didn't do much during that time. She was starting to feel lonely now that Arthur wasn't around. Though usually, Arthur was always there to accompany him.

Suddenly one day, Queen Averia and Crown Prince Arnold came with a group of soldiers to Marigold palace. Esther just sighed when she saw Averia who came to destroy her palace. If only she could still use her magic to finish off that one woman.
This time Averia wants to capture Esther and throw her into prison under the pretext of using magic. Esther began to think about how Averia could know that.
"I've never used magic," Esther said confidently.

"Soldiers, quickly imprison Concubine Averia into the dungeon!" Averia ordered arrogantly.

"Damn it! I can't escape from here because my strength is running out. I can't use my magic to brainwash them all either," Esther cursed in her heart.
Esther tried to untie her tightly bound hands. But before she managed to escape, Averia entered the place with a happy face to see her enemy in a pretty sad state.
"We haven't seen each other in a long time, haven't we, Beatrice?" said Averia, who walked over to Esther.
"Stop talking nonsense, Averia! Say what you want!" Esther replied who didn't want to make small talk with the human she hated the most.
Averia walked closer to Esther while carrying a spiked whip. Then, she whipped Esther's body many times until fresh blood came out of her body. Esther could only wince in pain.
"This is nothing compared to how I felt when I saw Sarah die right in front of me. The maid who I treated like a sister died because of you," shouted Averia.
"Then what about you who killed Caroline and even tried to harm my son, Arthur," replied Esther fearlessly.
Averia accelerated her whip on Esther's body even more. "If you don't know what the problem is, you'd better shut up."
"I was forced to become the king's concubine by my father. I also had to compete with many women who were just like me to get the King's attention. The Queen's throne is the thing that everyone covets the most. You never know how much I have to sacrifice to achieve this point."
"Therefore, admit that the wand found in your room is yours," Averia said while whipping Esther.

"Okay. Then have a good night in this place." Averia dropped her whip and walked away from the prison.
"ARGH.... FUCK!" cursed the frustrated Esther out loud.
