"He's alright, they are all in Akron," I told her. But I didn't want to add the 'for now' neither did I want to tell her about Griffith just yet.

"What's happened?" she asked.

Viktors guards were just outside listening to everything we were saying but it's not what I was saying would change anything.

"Things didn't go exactly as we planned but the dukes and prince are working to fix things from Akron, alright?" I tried to reassure her.

She nodded as she searched my eyes.

"I promise I'll find a way to get you out of here," I told her. "Try to stay strong."

I was asking a lot from her by wanting her to stay strong under such conditions but she had no choice.

I looked down at her now swelling belly, Viktor was a monster for keeping a pregnant woman in a cell like this.

"How is the baby?" I asked concerned she was having difficulty.
