26 The Feast

The renowned Princess Ava Cassia, wise and referred, stood in front of them.

Her eyes cast down at them, cold and distant.

Ava Cassia was a beauty to behold: the most stunning creature they had ever seen. Her locks, like liquid gold, cascaded around her shoulders as she turned her head to one side.

Royal blood flowed through her veins and shone from her lips, sparkling as they parted, revealing her perfect teeth. She stood tall and proud, almost regal, like a goddess, wearing a pale gown that hugged all of her curves.

She looked up slowly and met their gazes. They were captivated by the way her eyes glittered in the candlelight. They were so striking; it seemed to radiate out and touch them wherever they stood.

They stared back into those crystalline blue orbs – mesmerized by what they saw there. There was something about her gaze that made them feel drawn. It was almost magnetic.
