Ava's action that day spurred a lot of controversies in the Continent of Orion.

Apparently, Ava had lost her parents, the King and Queen of Cassiopeia, not long before that day. The Queen caught a mysterious disease, and the only chance to cure it was to make a remedy from a rare herb from the Carina Continent.

The King embarked on a journey through the ocean to find the very herb, but he was never heard from again. Presumably, his fleet was caught in a storm and failed to arrive at its destination.

While at home, just a month after the fleet's disappearance, Ava's mother died of the disease.

That was what led to her trip to the Holy Empire to be crowned as the new ruler of Cassiopeia. But before the coronation, she suddenly purchased all the slaves under the age of 15 in the Capital City of the Holy Empire.
