"You….. You are the second prince? But….but how?" Isabella voiced out as she stared at him with wide eyes. He squinted his eyes.

"How?" Linda cleared her throat.

"What she's trying to say is we heard you had a disfigured face. Those were rumors?" Ares smirked.

"I don't know, you tell me" Linda glanced Briefly at Isabella who still seemed to be in shock then turned to Jacob.

Jacob smiled at Ares.

"Would you like to stay over for lunch? It's almost ready" Ares shook his head.

"I think we should be on our way now" Reign heaved a silent sigh of relief. She didn't want them to spend any more time here.

"Oh alright then. It was nice having his highness at our humble abode" Jacob said with a smile and Ares nodded before staring down at Reign.

"Shall we leave?" She was about to nod when she spotted Anna and Jess staring at her with a wide smile on their faces.

"Actually, there is one thing I want," Ares raised an eyebrow.

"And what would that be?" She pointed at Jess and Anna.

"I would like to take those two maids with me" Ares furrowed his eyebrows.

"Why? We have a lot of maids at the castle. Are they not to your liking?" Reign immediately shook her head.

"No and you know why" Ares chuckled.

"Still not over your jealousy I see. Alright, if that's what you want and if your parents are okay with it then why not?" They both turned to Linda and Jacob.

"Ahh yes, she can take those maids with her if that's what she wants" Jacob said with a smile which almost seemed genuine but Reign knew better than to trust that smile.

"Re….. Isabella, can I have a word with you?" Isabella questioned then stomped away. Reign took a deep breath then turned to Ares with a smile.

"I'll be right back" Area nodded then watched as she walked off.

"I never knew Isabella had a sister," Ares said with furrowed eyebrows.

"Oh no dear God, that's her cousin" Ares nodded slowly.

"Alright" Jacob immediately walked up to him.

"Please come have a seat. Isabella would probably take some time talking to her cousin and we don't want to keep you standing by the door, that would be rude of us" Ares nodded slowly then followed Jacob as he directed him towards the lounge room. Ares silently prayed Isabella didn't take too much time with her cousin. They gave off negative vibes and that was normally his job.

Isabella pushed against Reign's shoulder as they got to her room.

"You snake! You knew about this, didn't you?" Reign furrowed her eyebrows.

"What? Knew what?"

"That he was that handsome! That's why you agreed to marry him so quickly, isn't it?!" Reign scoffed which totally caught both of them off guard but Reign wasn't backing down now.

"Unlike you Isabella, I would never agree to marry someone just because he's handsome and besides, I found out he was handsome right after I got to the castle. It's not my fault you chose to believe the rumors" Isabella scoffed.

"Did you just….. did you just talk back to me? Wow I see stealing my betrothed has really given you balls hasn't it?"

"Isabella, I didn't steal anything from you, you gave it to me on a golden platter" Isabella folded her arms.

"Well I want him back now, call off the wedding with him" There was no way Reign was going to do that. She had a goal to achieve and nothing was going to stop her.

"I'm sorry, I'm not going to do that" Isabella's eyes widened.

"What did you just say? He's my betrothed"

"Which you rejected because you thought he was ugly and now that you know he's gorgeous, you want him back?" Isabella was perplexed. Never have she seen Reign like this, Reign had always been a pushover.

"I'll reveal everything to him and you'll be thrown out of the castle like the dirty rag you are" Reign raised her chin.

"If you reveal the truth, not only will you disgrace yourself but you'll put both yourself and your family in grave danger for deceiving the royal family. Do you still want that?" Isabella stared at Reign for a while then scoffed.

"You might have won this time but remember your place which is beneath me. I'll win this battle, there's no way I'll let you marry him and become a princess, mark my words" She roughly bumped into Reign's shoulders as she walked out of the room.

Reign took a deep breath before going down to meet Ares. Ares looked up with a smile as soon as he saw Reign coming down the stairs.

"Are you ready to leave?" She nodded with a smile as she walked up to him. Just then, Jess and Anna came out of the maid's room with their luggage.

"We are also ready, your highness" Ares nodded then stood up from his chair.

"We'll leave now then. It was a…. Pleasure meeting you Isabella's parents. Maybe one day, you'll be invited over for tea at the palace" He said with a smile. Jacob hurriedly nodded.

"It would be a great honor, Your highness" Jacob and Linda smiled kindly at him then bowed their heads as Ares and Reign walked out of the house with Anna and Jess behind them.

As soon as their carriage left, Isabella stomped down the stairs with a frown on her face.

"Mother! We have to do something about this. Reign cannot become a princess and marry my betrothed" Jacob rolled his eyes.

"You were the one who handed her over to him so it's your fault" Isabella frown deepened then she Linda.

"Mom!" Linda sighed as she walked up to her.

"Don't worry dear, Your father and I will take care of it" James scoffed.

"And what exactly can we do? If the truth is revealed, we are as good as dead"

"So? You expect me to sit down and watch that wretched girl take what belongs to my daughter? Over my dead body. Come on Isabella, we'll think of a plan together" Jacob shook his head then walked over to his study…..
