Scared

"Let's make a baby,missus."

Ryu's words reverbated in Alicia's mind like a gong.Stilling for a moment,she looked at Ryu with nervous eyes.Her heart whichhad been pounding moments ago had come to a stop.

For a moment,she wondered whether Ryu remembered their conversation and her refusal to have a baby...Maybe some snippets of the past remained buried..

Ryu could read her like a book and answered her unasked question,"Yes missus,I remember that you are scared to have a baby and the reason for it.But you seem to have forgotten what I told you then.There is no hurry.We had time then and we have time now.But I would like to hold a baby with your beautiful eyes and sweet smile...I want you to atleast think about it.If after that you still feel that you are unable to get over your fear,then we will discuss other things.And tell me Al,do you trust me?"

Alicia's eyes which were now glittering with tears made Ryu's heart ache but she nodded her head in affirmative.
