A rose for devotion and commitment

"So, why are we here?" Zhenyi asked as she took a sip of wine. Surprisingly, she liked its taste. However, the question that remained unanswered was how this sometimes very difficult man was letting her drink tonight? 

She didn't care for the answer as long as he allows her to drink to her heart's content. 

"Love, stop with acting. I know that you are perfectly aware of the reason why we are here," said Long Jie and knocked her head with his finger. 

"Ouch!"

He was truly enjoying how hard she was trying to pretend oblivious. 

"Do you like it, wife?" questioned Long Jie, half-teasing and half-seriously. 

She looked around again to take in the beauty of the place. It was literally beautiful that she was at a loss for words. He did put a lot of thought into making their evening special.
