1 A New Life [01]

I woke up completely confused on my bed. The memories ran through my head, perhaps it should be said, half of someone's memories.

Was it my past life's memories?

My head hurts so much. I ignored my headache and opened my eyes. The light from the window brightened the room. My feet were under warm blankets. It was cold outside. I felt it in the air that flowed into the room through the window.

My room was quite large. Most of the furniture in my room was wooden. My room had a closet, a bookshelf, table, chair, just like any other normal rooms.

"Little Lord, Are you awake? You need to practice your sword techniques." said my personal knight as he entered my room and closed the door.

Chestnut, shaggy hair clumsily hangs over a chiseled, cheerful face. Shining black eyes, set gracefully within their sockets, watch yearningly over the city they've loved for so long. A beard graciously compliments his mouth and leaves an amusing memory of his fortunate looks. These were the looks of the person standing before me.

He was my personal knight who was assigned to me by my father, the Baron. His name is... Yvet.

The moment he saw me, his face looked shocked. It was as if someone had died in front of him. Then he closed his eyes and looked down irritatedly.

"Have you drank again?.. Kids, your age are rather working for their own good at this time." I looked in the direction he was looking and saw two wine bottles on the floor. They were empty.

"Don't worry. I don't intend to top the academy or something." I said as I touched my head with both my hands.

"*sigh* We have already talked about this, Devian. You shouldn't waste your opportunity. You should only think about joining the Hero's party." He said and sat on my bed.

"If it was that easy, you wouldn't be my personal knight here." I said.

Yvet, my personal knight, entered the academy at the age of 17, the same as me. He trained hard in order to join the First generation of the Hero Party, but unfortunately he was unable to join the First generation of Hero's Party. It was already reserved for the sons and daughters of nobles with bloodlines stronger than his.

"S-Sorry for saying that.. I don't know what is happening to me from this morning." I said as I hesitated.

"It's okay. Don't worry about it." He said as he stood up.

"I should not say this but, please don't learn from your father. It's for your own good." He said as he went out from the door.

This headache is not of my drinking. Half of that memory is real. I can say. I don't usually talk like that with Yvet.

A strange screen appeared in front of me. I was somehow familiar with it. I know what 'AIMBOT' means. Do I have memories of my previous life in my head? That's the most logical answer.

I walked to my closet and wore my clothes for training. I've been training with Yvet for the past two years for a chance to join the 2nd Generation Hero's Team. I was the one who told him to train me, but my progress was comparable to a villager training with a sword for two years. That is, no real progress.

With the hacks, I will be able to kil- JOIN THE HERO!

It is happening to me again, maybe, my past life and this live's memories are clashing. But, why does my past self want to kill the hero?
