[ I experienced hardships in life way too early. While other kids enjoyed being pampered by their parents, there's me striving to stay alive in the abuse of my father. ]

[ Other kids enjoyed there food freshly cooked while there's me, who enjoyed eating what they used to enjoy. Checking every trashcans and if I'm lucky, I can live for the day eating leftovers they threw away. ]

[ Sometimes, I kept on wondering. If every person were borned equal, then what happened to myself? Did the Gods forsaked my existence? Is it that hard to have a normal loving family? ]

[ As I grew up, I began to change my perception of the world. There's no such thing as free meal. If you're weak then you'll stay weak if you won't do anything. ]

[ And as I finally attained a normal life for the first time, I didn't knew that it'll also be my last. As I faced a faceless monster; there on that exact moment, I began to realize. No matter how loyal the dog is, if it's angered; it'll bite you back even if you're the owner. ]

As she fell down on a 73 storey building, A vicious, hateful curse came out on her shaking lips.

"Damn you, you piece of shit! Kang Tae Seong"

It was a very normal day. Familiar people, familiar ambience, familiar scenery. As she opened her eyes that morning, everything was familiar, just like any other days.

She took a bath. She prepared her breakfast. She had her pet went on a stroll.

As she walked her pet dog Sasha, a familiar piercing scream cut through behind her back. Just as always.

"Shin Hye!! Wait for me!!"

[ Here comes the annoying bug. ]

A familiar voice that she really hated hearing first thing in the morning hurriedly ran behind her. It was her childhood friend's annoying voice, Kang Tae Seong.

Just like what she totally do everytime, she ignored him and walked away. She tried glancing behind her back and her friend's stupid, annoying look in his face made her day gray. She sighed in exasperation as she speed up her walking.

Feeling ignored, Tae Seong ran as fast as he could while shouting Shin Hye's name.

"Shin Hye!! Shin Hye!! Shin Hye!! Wait for me!!"

He naturally placed his arms towards Shin Hye's shoulder and whispered in her ears.

"We have a great catch today? Are you in?"

She brushed off his arms and started speeding up her walk. Tae Seong maintained their walking pace while making this fool expression. Can't held her patience anymore, she glanced back at him and with an emotionless look in her face, she said,

"You know that I take everything placed in front of me, right?"

Leaving such remarkable words, he just smirked at her as she walked away.

"Then I'll text you the address okay?!" he yelled before she totally left.

After that depressing morning walk, she went back to her house. As soon as she opened the door, a text message came in,

'TING!'

"Fast as always", she murmured to herself.

She checked the text message and brushed off a smirk before turning her phone off.

"Our client wants the latest draft of K Company's recent project. I'll text you the room number after you've arrived. Here's the address: Tower G, Floor 56, 467-29 Dogokdong, Gangnam-gu. I've already checked the place and it's the Samsung Tower Palace. Everything you need in entering the place are already on set so it's up to you now," was what the text message stated.

As she was drenched in sweat, she entered the shower once more despite having a morning shower early in the morning. After that refreshing shower, she immediately picked up her phone and called Tae Seong for additional information.

'RINGG!'

The other line picked up the call.

"Hey, brief me more about the operation," she frankly commanded.

"Our target is the sole successor of K Company and the officer in charge of their latest project. According to our information, he always store the file materials of their project in a safe located in his unit. There are only three units at that floor and his room is at the last one. Your goal is to infiltrate his place by the time he's not around. Even though the area's security is too strict, I can manage to let you in, but ..."

He tried dragging his words but Shin Hye already caught up to what he wanted to say.

"But escaping the scene will be totally up to me, huh?"

"Yes... It's up to you, my friend," he added.

She sighed heavily as she ended the phone call. Despite her confidence she can't helped but worry about the operation's success. She trained and prepared herself. When the time finally came for her to start the operation, she softly slapped her cheeks with her both hands.

Just after the target's car left, she began infiltrating the Samsung Tower Palace. She disguised herself as an old lady janitress and naturally walked in inside the elevator. First, she went to the rooftop and roped her way down towards target's comfort room window. It's to ensure her escape when she's unexpectedly caught in a bind.

After that, she directly headed towards the target's room floor number. She didn't worry about her face being seen in the CCTV's as she hid her face very well.

After reaching the said floor, she immediately sprayed dyed paint on the CCTV cameras and naturally walked towards the door of the target's room.

Dusting the password door lock meticulously, with fuming equipments and adhesive tape; she easily infiltrated the place.

'CREAK!'

Entering the door, a bunch of luxurious antiques welcomed her. Silently strolling around, she's 100% convinced that the target is a self - loving jerk based on the large portraits of himself posted around the comfort room.

A narcissist who loved to spend like there's no tomorrow but ended up evading tax collectors during payday.

[ What a scum! If only I can murder him right now! ]

Minutes of strolling, she finally found the safe. She didn't waste a moment and immediately started safe - cracking. With adept safe - cracking and meticulous concentration, she safely opened the safe without triggering the safety alarms for only a 2 minutes.

With success on her hands, she sighed in relief. Upon opening the safe, there's not a single file or paper was found but instead; a loud siren echoed on the entire floor.

"Shit!" she cursed unintentionally.

She ran and tried exiting in the front door but a series of footstep noises changed her mind.

'PANT!'

[ I think ... I'm in a problem. ]

Feeling anxious, she hurriedly went to the comfort room and hurriedly forced herself out on that tight, small window. Grabbing the rope she installed in advanced, she successfully escaped the room unscathed.

As she was already in the middle of her successful escape, a familiar face welcomed her. A strangely familiar face that she didn't expected to be there. Without knowing anything, she felt grateful and relieved at the same time. She continued climbing yet each step she made, the person's expression began to change. At that time, there's only one thing that crossed her mind.

[ Fuck! I messed up. ]

Looking down below her was her childhood friend whom grinning from ear to ear like a starved demon ready to eat its victim alive.

Her eyes widen as she stared back at him. That expression was a first for her.

The moment she felt that the rope had loosened, she shouted at him desperately,

"Kang Tae Seong!! What are you doing?! Hurry up and help me!!"

He didn't answer and yet kept on staring at her with such scary expression. The moment his scary expression finally hit her, she instinctively begged for his help.

"Kang Tae Seong!! What are you doing?! Hurry up and help me!! I'll give you the 50% ah--, no 75%! Hurry up and help me!! Please?!"

[ I started acting like an animal begging for its life to be spared. I even began showing expressions that I didn't even showed before. ]

At that exact moment, she felt scared the moment death started knocking on her door.

[ I hate this feeling. The feeling of being supressed by someone you didn't even expect. ]

She was almost there. Another 6 steps and she can almost grab the railings. With that tiny glimpse of hope, she felt relief. But that tiny glimpse of hope was easily crushed by an evil laugh.

"Hahahahaha!!"

Kang Tae Seong laughed evilly. She began having chills from his laugh. She shook in nervousness as she climbed up. She still hoped that he wouldn't do something bad as he's not the type of person to do that.

[ He can't even kill a bug when we were kids. He can't even stay still when he was getting a shot when we were in high school. When we passed by a crime scene last week, he instantly fainted upon seeing a bit of blood. I should trust him ... I trust him ... No ... I need to trust him! ]

In an instant, that trust crumbled upon hearing exactly four words from him.

"Go to hell, bitch!" with an evil expression, he yelled as he watch her fall down to her death.

After hearing those words, the rope complete loosened and she began falling from that high building. Just before facing death, memories of her together with that jerk instantly flashbacked on her mind.

[ What the heck is happening? Am I really going to die? Like this? Kang Tae Seong!! How dare you do this to me?! I'll wait for you in hell, you piece of shit! ]

As she fell down, she closed her eyes and just like that; she welcomed death.

"..."

That's what she thought. For a few seconds she lost her consciousness, she immediately regained it back. She regained her consciousness but she can't open her eyes. Seconds later, in that pure darkness, she felt like someone was crushing her.

[ Heavy. Someone is crushing me down. It's uncomfortable! ]

Her neck began to hurt. Looked like someone was strangling her. She struggled despite her lack of vision.

[ Is it Kang Tae Seong? Is he trying to kill me again knowing that I survive? What a piece of shit! ]

The strangling continued.

[ I need to open my eyes or else I'll die. I hate that feeling. The feeling of being helpless. Please, I need to open my eyes! ]

As she opened her eyes, a figure of a man slowly faded in on top of her.

[ Damn you! Kang Tae Seong! I'll kill you this time! Kang Tae ... Seong? ]

As she completely regained her vision back, an unknown man was strangling her on top of the bed.

[ Who the heck are you??! ]
