The Old Railway Tunnel

"The Old Railway Tunnel" My name is Titus, I'm what you call a watcher, I have seen many things...many terrible terrible things, but I have witnessed random acts of gentle kindness... I was born and raised in Bloomington Illinois, my family and I lived right next to the huge railyard... Growing up I played all around the railyard, my favorite spot was tunnel that was underneath the railyard, so workers could get from one side of Chestnut street to the other... That was what the tunnel was built for, but the whole town used it... I had a secret spot in the tunnel, hidden from view, but I could see everyone and everything passing by... One day from my hidden spot, I saw a women approaching, it was only on the rarest occasion would you see a female use this tunnel...it was a dangerous place... The women approaching didn't seem scared at all, this unnerved me, her dress was shabby to say the least, her hat covered most of her facial features... And the most unnerving thing was, it didn't seem like she was walking at all, more like hovering along... She was approaching at very slow pace, I could feel my body tensing up more and more as she approached ever so slowly... I am so nervous, so very nervous... Then I noticed a very peculiar scene, teams of big filthy rats running in from of her, screeching a deathly noise... Down in this tunnel, rats were 10 or 15 pounds, most of the time they didn't pay much attention to humans, they might scurry away if you got too close, but most of the time they didn't seem scared of humans, most of time it was the other way around... When the women was about 15 feet from my hidden spot, I smelled a deathly odor permeating the tunnel, the smell was ghastly... Slowly but surely the woman finally was right below my hiding spot...I stopped breathing...then the woman stopped...she didn't look up, as I feared she would...the only thing I heard was her snarling...then the snarl stopped... Everything in the the tunnel was dead still... Then I heard a small whisper come from the woman... "I See You Titus The Watcher" "This Night You Will Be Able Too Watch Forever" The next day crews from the railroad entered the tunnel from all three entrances, what they smelled and witnessed was rancid, they found the 15 dead bodies in the tunnel this day, each one had his eyeballs bored out, it was a gruesome scene... All the dead were homeless men that lived the the tunnels... The railroad crews didn't find what they were looking for this day, a young girl had went missing the previous evening, she was last spotted by the Western entrance to the tunnel... As the crews passed by Titus's hidden spot, Titus was just finishing his meal from the night before... Titus sat back, full belly, he looked adoringly at his newest treasure...A Pretty Pink Hair Clip... The Tunnel Still Exists...It Thought So Does Titus...

Into the Flames

‘Where am I?’ Eloise woke up abruptly to find herself by a small pond, in the middle of a very large garden. The cool evening breeze blew wisps of her dark red hair into her face. She looked down to find herself in a beautiful white gown. She slowly stood to her feet confused. ‘My wedding day?’ But that was two days from now. She quickly touched her stomach to find no stab wounds. She found no blood in her palms either. She swore they were filled with blood minutes ago. The scene of Cole stabbing her was so vivid now. She died...... Yes, she died. She would never mistake the fear she felt while, Cole pushed her off the balustrade. It was real. She knew what she felt. The sharp piercing pain from the cold iron knife, he stabbed her with. The satisfaction in his eyes while he stabbed her multiple times. The hate. Pure hate, she thought. But why? Why would the love of her life kill her? Most importantly, why wasn’t she dead yet? Yes, she was the Phoenix. She could rise from the ashes every time she died but not this time. She was sealed. Yes, by that woman. The woman with the realistic serpent tattoo. She’d seen tattoo before, but where? She remembered it all so well now. There was a witch circle, the seal of the condemned, a bright red moon and her blood.... She fell from a three-story building, right to the bottom of the pool. She spent her last breath drowning because she couldn’t swim. What a terrible way to die, she thought. Or maybe not.... She was alive, wasn’t she? Some terrible dream that was. Or was it?
