Chapter 02
After being staying for three days in the hospital, with the help of Angel and her uncle to make the arrangements and get the confirmation for the next treatment. She finally got home and start to lay down on her bed.
'Uhhh… I miss my bed so much.'
"Ariel, I'll put your beg here, okay?" Said Frederick before leaving the room.
Angel also decided to not bother her and leaves. Soon, Ariella heard the laugh from them both maybe there funny thing between their conversation.
'Sometimes I felt Angel and uncle are way too close, maybe just because she lost her father at such young age that makes her consider uncle Frederick as her father.'
Her room looks very simple and minimal which describes how Ariella's personality is. She is a type of demure person who can become serious and also an introvert. Ariella Arknight is the only daughter and future heir of her father's company, Emerald Knight Corporation.
She lost both of her parents when she was only at age of twelve in a car accident.
The only family left is her uncle, Frederick Wood. An elder brother of her mother, Gabriella Wood.
Thinking about the past event that had happened to her, Ariella quickly took out her diary from the drawer beside her bed and start writing down everything that happen and her feeling. She liked to keep her life in privacy instead of updating her social life on Twitter or another platform of social media.
Some people will be mocking her for being an old-school person just because she still loves to write down her personal life story in a diary instead of on social media.
That's why she won't have a friend other than Angel and Angel's friend. Some of them will call her an anti-social and gloomy girl.
'Sometimes the secret that we can't share with others, we can keep it in the diary instead of holding in our head and heart, it's better to confess in the diary.' Ariella's mother's words make her believe how precious the diaries can be.
She put her diary back in the drawer and lock it. The key, she'll hide it inside her pillowcase.
In the evening, Ariella took a walk at the park near her house and decides to take a rest on the bench. She had been checking out her phone waiting for someone to messages her.
Although Ariella is a quiet girl, she already had a boyfriend named Sean William. Her first boyfriend and hoping he will the only and last boyfriend.
'Sean hasn't yet called or left a message to me in this week… Has he heard about my accident?'.
She feels a little sad and disappointed about this matter. She keep thinking that Sean probably doesn't know about her condition but later on, she was aware that Angel have been informed about this.
Even though they only start dating for six months, Ariella already loved him so much. And the one who confessed was Sean, but even though Ariella was had a crush on him on the very first day they met.
'Angel eventually already told him and I'm sure he already knows.
She trying comfort herself by thinking that Sean was busy with his family during his trip to Europe for a family vacation. Probably he doesn't have time to make any messages or even read any messages.
"Sean, I'm wondering what are you doing?".
Ariella saw the old couple who sat on the bench on another side of the park, still been romantic and lovey-dovey each other.
She had remembered the first time she met Sean at Business School. It happened because Ariella come to that school just to meet Angel.
Sean and Angel had the same major in Business Management course. With the fact, Sean was a senior in the third year and Angel and Ariella were in the first year of college.
At first of the friendship, Ariella always thought that Sean suit to be with Angel. But instead of Angel, Sean had chosen her to be his girlfriend. At the thought of this moment, she showed a sweet smile when she remembered that the seeds of their love began to sprout.
