Chapter 1: What do you want?

Sitting lazily on the Sect Master's throne, Zodiac looked down at the young man who dare to speak blunt words to him because he has taken a liking to the Saintess of the Floating Cloud Sect, which is also the sect master's daughter.

Head down, she clenched her fist secretly when hearing the words of her younger brother.

She too doesn't want to go with that man and want to resist but she know whatever she do is useless because the young man cultivation base is too terrifying even surpassing her father who have been cultivated for more than severals hundreds of years.

And she dare not refuse for fear of offending this person and her sect being slaughtered.

Her emotions is complicated, she is at loss and doesn't know what to do.

Zodiac leaned back leisurely, his voice dripping with mocking charm.

"So what? I'm the strongest and the weak have no right in front of the strong so if i want to take her away what can you do? The saintess possesses an ethereal beauty that even the heavens envy, such a beauty is a waste for her to stay in the lower realm it's better to become one of my concubine and enjoy life in the upper realm with me."

The young man clenched his fist, furious at the man shameless words!

"I will protect her from the like of you, if she doesn't want to go with you i will not let you take her away!"

Zodiac chuckled, his eyes sparkling with playfulness.

"Did you truly believe your righteousness can sway her heart? Her destiny is intertwined with mine, as is the way of the heavens."

Zodiac's lips curled into a sly smile as he leaned forward, his gaze turned on the woman standing at the corner of the hall then asked with a gentle tone:

"Tell us Claudia, do you want to stay here or come with me?"

All eyes in the main hall landed on her, instantly making her the center of attention, the onlookers waiting for her answer with various emotions…
