Chapter 1

Shikana's Pov

"Congratulations, Yoshino and Shikaku. You have twins, a boy as the eldest and a girl as the youngest" an unfamiliar voice wakes me up from my deep slumber

As I open my eyes, blinding lights is what greeted me. Although, it's blurry I can still see at least 5 individuals in the room that I'm in

One man and four women. One of the woman that I mention is lying on the bed while the the three woman is standing.

A woman with short blonde hair and green eyes is holding me and my suppose to be twin, Shikamaru is held by a woman with black hair and blue eyes.

Our mother, Yoshino is the one that was lying on the bed. And the only man in the room is our father, Shikaku, whose smiling widely at the both of us

He reckoned the woman that was holding Shikamaru to hand the baby Shika to him. The woman obeyed, and carefully hand my dear twin to him

He held him cautiously and carefully, as if afraid that Shika will die if he held him tightly

Yoshino too reckoned the woman that was holding me to hand me to her. She too, obeyed

Also handing me to her carefully. And like Shikaku, she held me too like a fragile glass that will break upon being held to tightly

She cried. Shikaku also cried. And even Shikamaru cried. While I just stared at them, dumbfounded

At the corner of my eyes, I saw the other 3 women slowly exiting through the door. Leaving me with my new family that's still crying

As I thought that it will probably take them a long time to stop, I started to zone out. And tried to talk to God telepathically

"God? Are you there?" [Shikana]

"What do you need, my dear?" [God]

"Nothing. Just want to talk to you" [Shikana]

"Sometimes, I can't help but feel your annoying" [God]

"Ouch! That hurts you know?" [Shikana]

"Anyway, want to see how you look like?" [God]

"Of course! So, where's the mirror? Give me!" [Shikana]

"I can't my dear" [God]

"Why? You said that I can see myself!" [Shikana]

"Can't you see that your mom, Yoshino, is still holding you? If so, then you should probably know the answers by now" [God]

Our conversation continued until Yoshino or should I call Mom looked at me directly at the eyes

She gasped, before looking at Shikaku or my Dad

"Shikaku! Look, look at her eyes! It's purple!" Mom whisper-yelled.

Dad looked at the both of us before coming closer and also looking at me in the eye. And he too, gasped before chuckling

"What a beautiful eyes you have there little girl" Dad says. I stare at him before cracking a smile

"Look! I made her smile!" He exclaimed excitedly to Mom

"I know Shikaku. I'm not blind so I can see it" Mom deadpanned while I laughed

They both looked at me shocked before smiling widely

"Looks like there's another prodigy in our clan, Yoshino" Dad said before looking at me and Shikamaru that's still in his arms but currently sleeping soundly

"Prodigy? I don't know but, I believe that both of them is incredibly smart" Mom said smiling

"It's the same as a prodigy, Yoshino" Dad retorts while Mom got a tick mark on her forehead

"What did you just say, Shi-ka-ku?" Mom asked, smiling sickeningly sweet. Dad cowers in fear before apologizing

"Enough, let's just choose their names already" Mom suggested to Dad and he nodded before giving Shika to Mom and coming out to call a nurse then come back quickly

"The nurse is on her way. So while she's still gone, let's decide on names carefully" he said

"Ok, you'll name the girl while I name the boy. Got it?" She asked. Dad nodded quickly

He cleared his throat first "So, how about Shikana Nara for this cute baby girl? And Yuki will be her nickname"

"Shikana sounded nice. But why does she have a nickname? I mean Yuki is a good nickname and name but why?" Mom asked

Truthfully, I also want to know since I didn't write it in the contract that God gave me

"Well, I just think that since her skin is as white as snow, why not give her a nickname, Yuki? Exclusive for our family only" Dad explained while I think about it for a while because I didn't get the chance to see myself so I don't know

"You've got a point. So, from now on her name will be Shikana while her nickname is Yuki. You, her twin and me are the only one allowed to call her that" why so possessive Mom?

"Anyway, this baby boy name will be Shikamaru. I can't think of a nickname so you choose"

"How about Shika? I mean I also can't think of any nicknames anymore" Dad said as he rub the back of his head

"Then, Shika it is" Mom softly smiled

"Welcome to the world, Shika and Yuki. Dad and Mom will surely protect you" Dad laughed

Until I felt my eyes getting heavier and heavier then finally drifting to sleep
