The Devil Of The Abyss Part Two

Fate was truly angered. She couldn't understand why this man wanted to marry her! Gritting her teeth, she yelled: "What right do you have to force me to marry you!? You asked me to help you break the seal, and we agreed on the terms. So why!?"

"Hmm?" Mogui lifted his head and smiled as he said: "When does a devil need to keep his promises? I think I am being very reasonable. I am even waiting two thousand years for you. I did not restrict you from having other lovers or giving birth to children during that time."

Fate was still not happy, but because the blood pact was already signed, She had no choice but to follow through with it in two thousand years. The more she thought about it, the more she realized that anything could happen during that time. Not to mention nowhere in the contract did it state that she had to stay with him if they got married. Even if she killed him at some point before their marriage she could still hold a ceremony with herself to fulfill the blood pact. As Fate calmed herself down, more and more ideas came to mind on how to deal with this situation. With a flicker of killing intent in her eyes, she decided to deal with it when she knew she had the power to do so.

"Hehe… I see you're already making plans for the future. Good! " Mogui had a look of excitement in his eyes, he couldn't wait to see how this little girl would try to deal with her fate when the time came.

"So how do I free you?" Fate completely ignored Mogui's comment, not caring about him one bit.

Mogui paid her attitude no mind as he motioned his head towards one of the pillars. "You just need to break that pillar. I can do the rest from there."

Fate looked in the direction Mogui motioned and walked over to the large pillar. The pillar itself was about three times the size of her and had many ancient looking markings on it that glowed. "How should I break this?" Fate finally asked after observing the pillar for a while.

"Magic will not work on it, so you will need to use brute force. Those old bastards never thought that someone would be able to reach this deep in the abyss. They had specifically picked this planet as my prison due to this frozen abyss near the planet's core. The place you are standing on is the planet core itself." Mogui explained.

Fate furrowed her brow as she asked: "Will something happen to the planet core when I break this seal? This planet won't get destroyed in the process, will it?" Fate had plans for this planet. She wanted to make a base on this world so she could begin building up her own forces, but if the planet was to get destroyed, it would not work out well for her.

"This, I do not know, and I am being honest when I say I really don't know. Either way, you have no choice in the matter. But don't worry, I will not let a single hair on your body come to harm. After all, you will be my bride in the future." Mogui replied with a wide grin.

Fate's heart sank, she really did not want to free this man anymore but she had no choice! "If this planet ends up on the verge of being destroyed, I will need you to help me save a certain family. I do not care about the rest, but this family works under me now. Otherwise, I can not break this pillar until I find out a way to do it without it destroying the planet."

If she could at least save Jean's relatives on this planet if things go bad, it would mean that Jean's family would owe her much more. "Lass, you really drive hard bargains. Okay, you got my word. I will save the family you want to save. But in return, you will need to give me a kiss."

At this point, Fate wanted to punch this stupid man for being shameless, but she had no choice but to agree. "Fine, but only after everyone is safe."

"Then we have a deal." Mogui grinned as he licked his lips. A small taste before the main dish, later on, was not a bad deal for saving a few people.

With things settled as they were, Fate turned her attention back to the pillar in front of her and brought her fist way back and thrust it forward with all her strength...

*Bang!*

The ancient pillar that seemed as strong as can be suddenly shattered into dust. A loud dong sound played out causing Fate's ears to hurt as she covered them. Along with the continuous dong sound of the bell, there was a maniacal laughing going on behind her. "Hahaha! Those fucking old bastards thought I would be locked up for all eternity! But now!"

*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*

The last three pillars turned to dust, causing the dong sound to finally stop. The light from the strange pattern on the ground began to dim. Mogui's body slowly lowered to the ground. He yanked hard on the chains causing them to snap, freeing his limbs from their constraints. "Hahahahaha! Finally, I am free!"

As Mogui laughed out loud a violent shaking could be felt all around them. This shaking had caused Fate to stumble her steps and almost fall only to feel her waist being grabbed by a strong hand. "We will need to leave quickly. When we reach topside, tell me where this family you are wanting to rescue is."

Without waiting for Fate to answer, Mogui held her close as he turned into a stream of light disappearing from where he stood. As they disappeared, a white silhouette of a human appeared at the location. "Mogui has finally escaped… How many millions of years has it been. It seems a new era is upon us..." After saying this, the silhouette disappeared as if it was never there.
