Caspian looked at Salvatore speechlessly. He looked heartbroken; it was as though everything that made him was taken away. Caspian felt uncomfortable seeing him like that, even if he knew Hades loved him, seeing it is different.

He swallowed and said:

"Going on a date with him made me realize he isn't the type of man I wish to spend the rest of my life with."

Salvatore immediately looked up.

"What type of man do you wish to spend the rest of your life with?"

It's pathetic that he is feeling hopeful again, but he can't help it.

Caspian has this ability to draw him in, no matter what. The only person he cared for before him, was his parents and his grandmother. He never thought he would fall in love, but he did.

Caspian answered:
