A little spoiler for you...
My book offers a fresh idea. It is fast-paced. The setting starts in the secular world, and just when you think that it is the typical billionaire romance of revenge that turns into endless doting and pampering, you will be transported into a fantasy world of dark forces where the male lead, who is just a human and without superpowers, fights against his powerful enemies using his human skills and wit.
The female lead, naive and weak at the start, is not portrayed as disgustingly useless but can fight in her little way.
This author also introduced the idea of transmigration in this book. It is not the usual transmigration story; rather, it is the fusion of two souls—two persons who grew up in two different worlds with different upbringings, one being overly protected while the other constantly braving dangers to stay alive.
The tragic death of the supporting female character (Tala) awakened the dormant power within the female lead (Angel). But in fact, Tala did not die. It was only her physical body that died. Her soul fused with Angel and became her power!
The book also depicts a love triangle between the female lead and two male leads. One love is borne out of hate and revenge, while the other is borne out of a strong bond of friendship and trust formed from childhood and spanning over a decade.
You will not know who the female lead eventually ends up with until the last few chapters. You can share your thoughts as to who will be the victorious ML in the end.
Here are some terms you need to understand.
Astralis: a parallel world ruled by the people who have the power to command inanimate objects.
Phari: is an elite male guardian of Astralis. He is an expert in martial arts and has mastered the use of the key mystical power called mana. King Toren's ancestors trained them to protect the country's supreme leader, the legitimate heir to the throne.
Hara - Female counterpart of Phari.
Lakan - is a Phari who achieved the highest cultivation level, is the best guardian, and is the bravest warrior. He is the most powerful among the Pharis.
Bathala - The transcendent, supreme God, the originator and ruler of the Astralis.
