In a world where redemption mixes with chaos, Tsukiyama Shuu is granted a rare second chance to amend his past mistakes. DONUT.

Bob was struggling not because of balancing on one leg or anything related but his foundation in basic wind emperor arts literally became shaky since his dominant leg was taken out. He had his reputation to keep and a challenge to win, he was one of the best inner disciples after all. It's not just any inner disciple that gets charged to watch outer disciples.

"You, I will kill you!" Bob said as four blood-red tentacle-like appendages came out from his back and his knee healed almost immediately.

'Tch, a bikaku type.' Shuu thought as he wore an annoying expression.

The other senior disciples wanted to stop him but wanted to send a note of warning to other overly ambitious outer disciples who would dare to challenge them.

Bob launched his blood-red tentacles at Shuu as he cartwheeled midair. Shuu looked at the attack and hesitated… he hesitated because he wanted to see if he could take his attack. Shuu figured he should be a lot stronger than Bob but wanted to know if the technique would make up for it.

Ashley looked pleased that Shuu was already shown his place and relaxed a little, maybe after she would invite him to their group if he survives. She understood that Shuu was a strong ghoul and one with potential but she didn't like the way he acted as if he was better than everyone else by learning the secret of the cauldron run and even getting cocky enough to challenge a senior now. She would tease him but he had already proved his value and would make a vital addition to their group.

Two blood-red tentacles as thick as a man's forearm pierced Shuu's chest and lifted him up in the air. Apparently, the technique made up for the lack of power to pierce Shuu's incredibly durable body.

'So… heavy. What the hell is wrong with his skin, I had to put in all my strength just to pierce his skin quickly if not it would look like as if I struggled to pierce him...struggle?' Thoughts filled Bob's head as Shuu floated above him with the help of his tentacles impaling him at such a height.

Bob stuck out his tongue to taste Shuu's blood.

'Huh, where's the blood?' Bob thought with his tongue out making him look more like a psychopath than his usual calm self.

Shuu took a deep breath, broke apart his tentacles, and gracefully landed on his toes applying what he had learned so far.

Shuu's Rc cells angrily repaired the hole in his chest and didn't let a single drop of blood flow from him since their host would likely go on another fasting training which will develop the Rc cells after but it's not like anyone would like that if they were given the same job as Shuu's Rc cells. His Rc cells weren't just having it.

Shuu didn't even look at the amazing speed of his healing abilities nor the increase in their stat in his system but looked at Bob with a serious expression.

"I thought we were never allowed to use our kagune? But I will bring a disgraceful defeat upon you without using mine." Shuu said as he vanished from where he was and appeared at the side of Bob.

'Tch, I feel like taking these weights off.' Shuu thought as he looked at a surprised Bob.

Before Bob could react he grabbed his blood-red tentacles with both arms and began whipping him about, causing his body to land with such force on the terrain that after every landing and hit, Bob caught glimpses of his life flashing before his eyes.

The whole plateau watched in shock as Shuu played with Bob like it was something made out of a cartoon. Shuu then stopped and let Bob gather his thoughts.

Bob by this time was already a bloody mess and was struggling to get up. Shuu walked up to him and crouched beside him.

"Any last words?" Shuu said as he activated his kakugan which caused a warm dark red glow on his face.

Bob's kagune dispersed as his body focused on healing itself which left Bob tired and capable of just one last struggle… which Bob exploited.

Bob began to rotate his legs which featured low kicks with unpredictable patterns. He was using his own wind emperor arts that left Shuu staring at the sky in midair.

With killing intent, Bob focused his all on his left hand which he shaped like a blade aiming to decapitate Shuu's head. Shuu was already midair and the attack followed soon after but failed to even scratch his neck or hurt him in any way.

Grabbing his hand and using his free hand to imitate Bob's previous move, Shuu attacked… and Bob stopped moving and fell as soon as Shuu rebalanced himself midair and gained his footing back.

'Did he kill him? That bastard? Does he want to be kicked out or killed?' Alex thought while Ashley and Gin had different expressions that featured acknowledgment and anger.

"Interesting match interesting indeed." A voice said from behind as the senior disciples gasped and bowed as well as every other outer disciple except for Torvald, Alex, Ashley, Gin, and of course Shuu.

"I was wondering when you would come out, hiding on a tree behind the outer disciples is not a good look for you." Shuu said with a smirk across his face.

"You really want to fight me that bad eh?" Tien jr said as he walked over to Shuu's side.

"But you know, since you killed Bob… wait his heart is still beating." Tien jr said with widened eyes before even inspecting Bob's body as he could hear it without needing to check directly.

"Yes, he lives." Shuu said with folded hands as he looked at Tien jr.

'This bastard actually executed a move that I couldn't read? He's becoming a monster.' Tien thought as he laughed out loud.

"Fine, follow me to the inner disciple mountains. Congratulations, Senior Shuu." Tien jr said as he turned around and released a bit of his aura.

All the disciples on the plateau all together offered their greetings, "Congratulations Senior Shuu."
