12 minus 10

However, in his view outside Christy's embrace, he could also see how everyone all had a palpable love and affectionate emotion toward him.

His mother paused after singing for a while and turned to look at everyone as she sighed.

After standing in the same position for some time, Christy and Christopher decided it was finally time for everyone to sleep. The same day had been too worrisome, that everyone needed to dive to bed while relieving themselves of stress.

At this point, no one objected neither did they want to remember anything relating to the past events of the day.

Meanwhile, the sudden events of the day had made Tobi more worried than the benefits he had gained, that he had basically forgotten about the skills and abilities he was about to test out.

His priorities right now were to observe his body just Incase of any strange abnormalities and do some research about the system, the sudden evolution had been too shocking for him to let even an ant pass him by.

Tobi spent his first week as a baby, inspecting both his body and the system.

Since he had no responsibilities, whatsoever, he decided he might as well do something more useful.

Though he wanted to avoid anything to do with the system, however, the effect was also detrimental since apart from starving himself which would mean no completion of daily quests, his parents also started to grow more worried by the day.

From what they could see, after what happened he had eating anything but refused to be fed Christy's milk.

Which hurts her motherly feelings, his weird behavior made everyone worried about what might be wrong with him again. Even though Tobi could cope for a while, without drinking milk he noticed his system would constantly send him notifications each day, and one day gone without drinking milk means one less Hp.

Even with this, he didn't care much, he was more apprehensive than before, he didn't know what trick the system might pull off next.

However, on the third day the first system notification he got turned his world upside down.

{Your Health decreases}

[Host body has reached its limit, body can no longer suppress the need for milk!]

[Host HP will decrease by -10 every 24 hours(until you die)…×Error×…Until you drink milk!]

The sudden appearance of the notification made him astonished, he didn't know if his mind or the system was just playing tricks on him, due to haven't drunk milk for three days.

So he turned to his left and right, but the notification didn't seem to be a glitch.

After a few seconds, he closed and opened his eyes, only to realize the notification was still in his line of sight.

'So my hp will decrease faster if I don't drink milk?' Tobi thought in suspicion.

While he was thinking, he decided to test out something.

'Host attributes,' Tobi thought, as the system interface slowly displayed all the information needed to be seen.

'Hmm?' Seeing the outline before his eyes, Tobi chuckled to himself in ridicule to the system's sudden notification.

'I said it, it's either a system glitch or it just trying to trick me into drinking milk.'

His eyes shifted from the black screen for a second, before shifting it back a second later, and something unexpected happened.

The characters on the HP suddenly changed, in his line of sight.

'Eh, what the fu..?" Tobi almost voiced out, with a dumbfounded look.

'Huh, it really did change just like that?' He wondered in surprise, 'Wait, does that mean if I don't drink milk for the next eight days I might really die?'

Tobi could feel his heart pace, slowly increasing by the second. He wanted to test out his theory when he remembered everything that had happened before the system evolution.

He stopped his thoughts, and his hypothesis of over the thought of the system killing him.

'Nevermind, I shouldn't do it.' He knew if truly what the system said was true, he determined he had two choices, one of them was to drink milk now or wait to die-hard eight days later.

-The next day

That morning Christopher had quickly gone to bring the old midwife Nana over with their wagon, the moment of her arrival made Christy overjoyed, that she could finally heave out a sigh of relief.

Tobi's recent strange attitude had not only gotten her worried but baffled as well. Meanwhile, the old midwife Nana was immediately brought into their room to examine Tobi.

The moment she saw Tobi, she was flabbergasted, on a closer inspection, she noticed his extra pair of pitch-black eyes which gave her some chills. While the old midwife Nana was staring at Tobi in surprise, nevertheless she quickly got over her surprise, and began examining the child after all she wasn't there to play, and apart from that, she had seen worse.

Meanwhile, everyone waited for what she would say, she pranced around as she inspected him for while, sometime she opened his mouth slightly before closing them again.

The other, she would rob him on the stomach gently. During all that time, surprisingly Tobi neither moved nor cried, all what he did was staring at this weird-looking woman.

"Mama Nana, what's wrong with my baby? Why has he not been drinking my milk for days? It has never happened to any of my children before, not even..," Christy was so worried that, she was on the verge of crying.

"Shush dear, nothing is wrong with the child." Old nana said, her calm light tone devoid Christy of any worries.

"Though this is a rare case, but nothing serious from what I could see."
