A Stranger Approach

Chapter 2

"jerry!!.... jerry!!" Wade calling out Jerry while Harper looking between the tress and calling Jerry's name "jerry!!...jerry"

They called him again and again but there was no answer from Jerry

Harper and wade are going deep into the woods until they heard a branch breaking sound behind the tree in-front of them

Wade looked at Harper and they both nodded to each other to walk slowly to make sure that is Jerry

Wade moved towards the tree and Harper followed him 

Another sound came from behind Wade and Harper

They both turned their heads back then Harper decided to look there while Wade look behind the other tree

"Wade come here i found him" Harper's voice telling Wade that she found Jerry

"Okay...I'm coming." Shouting while running to both of them and a smile on his face

Wade reached Jerry's head and leaned forward to face him

"How many time did i tell you not to go in the woods alone?" Said Wade smiling at Jerry

Jerry looked down "i am sorry Wade.. look i found this blood here" he raised his arms to show both Wade and Harper.

Harper came closer to check it out while Wade got closer to check where is it coming from

"Who do you think this belongs to?" Harper asked and looked Wade

Wade who started sniffing the blood on the grass 

"I don't know... it could be anything" then said not sure what is this smell

"We should go and tell the others  about this" Jerry said to Harper and Wade

"Not now this will make them panic i will deal with it tomorrow" Harper said to him then she walked and both of them followed

When they got close to the field Cora was waiting for them to find Jerry and once she glanced him she ran towards them

"Thank you Harp,Wade for bringing him back" Cora said smiling

"No problem.....Cora  can I talk to for a second?" Harper said and smiled at her

Harper moved a little from where Wade and Jerry are standing to talk to Cora

"yes Harper?" Cora said wondering

"if you feel like you don't want to g...." Harper immediately said

Cora looked down then up and smiled "Don't worry about me harp I'll be there." She said to Harper in front of her

Harper smiled back

Cora walked towards Jerry and then they both walked away together

Harper spaced out while watching Jerry and Cora walking away

Wade got closer to her and waved his hand in front of her

"Hello ... I'm going to hunt some rabbits wanna join me?" He asked her

"Sure let's go" she said 

They got back into the woods to hunt something for dinner

"I'm still thinking about that blood, what if it was..." Wade cut her off when he Hit a grey rabbit with his arrow

"Wooh, i was talking you know" Harper said to Wade who went to grab what he hunted

"They can't wait" Wade said turning his back to Harper who is standing behind him to show her what he got

"Okay now he is proud"

She said and giggled

"You really need to teach me" she added while imitating Wade with his arrows

"You are not gonna get it like this" Wade said then he grabbed a rope from his pack-bag

"You know the secret is who uses the bow" He said while tying the rabbit hands and feet together

"Wade..." Harper voice came from his back in a shaky tone

When he turned around

a stranger is holding Harper and put a knife at her throat.
