Not So Simple.

"Is it that difficult?" Marcel asked and watched with amusement as Lauren emptied her glass of water. It was as if she was trying to quell the fire that was burning inside her.

"Can you believe he said that I'm not his type?" she said, she looked so upset that Marcel felt like he was about to get burned by the fire in her eyes.

"Really?" Marcel asked incredulously. As tomboyish as Lauren behaved, she was still very attractive, and with her personality and sense of style, she fell into the category that could easily attract people from both genders.

"I wouldn't joke about something. That didn't make me mad, what really angered me was the fact that he thought that he is my type!" she continued and Marcel couldn't stop himself from laughing. He couldn't help it, he really wanted to see Lauren's expression when Nick insinuated that she was attracted to him.

"Stop laughing!" Lauren said while managing to keep her voice down.
