The Traveller and Cleansing the Town!

"Lost... Magic," Nerium muttered.

"It's an ancient magic that humans can no longer use, in other words, it's a banned magic," Yukki explained, her expression full of unease.

"Tch... We need to act fast," Zack declared.

"Yeah," Yukki agreed.

"But don't worry, now that we know the cause, leave everything to us," Yuna confidently got up from the couch.

"Are you saying you want to do this alone?!" Zack's voice raised in protest.

"Shut up, I'm not alone. I have Nerium and Yukki on my side," Yuna retorted with a slightly annoyed tone.

"Even so, you only have three people on your side!" Zack argued.

"And? Are you going to sacrifice some of your knights for this mission?" Yuna replied smugly.

"Yeah, I will send two of my most elite adventurers to assist you," Zack responded.

"Uh-oh... I never expected you to take this so seriously..." Yuna giggled nervously.

"Of course I am!" Zack's tone was firm.

"Well, thanks for the offer, but it's fine, really! We don't need extra hands right now," Yuna declined the offer.

"No, that won't do. Saya!" Zack called out, and someone entered the room – the receptionist from yesterday.

"Yes? What can I do for you?" she inquired.

"Call the Night Wing party," Zack instructed.

"Understood," she left the room and returned a few moments later with two new individuals – a boy with a massive sword on his back and a girl carrying a staff.

"Thank you. You may return to your work, Saya," Zack dismissed the receptionist, leaving the two adventurers alone in the room.

"G-Guildmaster...? Why did you call for us? And who are they?" the boy pointed at Yuna and her group. Yuna waved at them with a smile.

"They are special guests. I will assign you a special request," Zack informed.

"A direct request from the guildmaster?!" both of them exclaimed.

"Shh! This is a little secret. Haha," Yuna chuckled.

"A secret?" the girl inquired.

"Well, why don't we introduce ourselves first? I'm Yuna, and these are my companions, Yukki and Nerium," Yuna introduced her group.

"Yeah, I'm Levion, and she's my sister, Lili," the boy introduced himself.

"It's good for you to get along, but we're still in a critical condition," Zack reminded Yuna.

"Don't worry, just leave it to me," Yuna assured, her smile unwavering.

"Let's go!!!" Yuna yelled, suddenly springing into action.

"Go wh-" Levion began to ask, but before he could finish, Yuna grabbed both him and his sister's hands and dashed out of the room.

"Wait!!!" Levion and Lili shouted, but Yuna paid them no heed.

"Sigh... Let's chase after them, Nerium," Yukki said, looking at Nerium who nodded. A few moments later, they arrived at the center of the country. Levion and Lili were out of breath, and Yuna wasted no time, immediately starting her investigation.

"Hmm... This is not good," Yuna stated, causing Yukki and Nerium to catch up to her.

"What's not good?" Yukki asked, still catching her breath.

"The process has already started, and at this rate, it'll take at least five days for the whole magic to be activated," Yuna claimed. Nerium and Yukki exchanged concerned glances, both feeling the weight of the situation.

"What magic?" Lili asked, her eyes wide.

"Oh yeah! We haven't told you yet. We're researching the Lost Magic that has infected the country!" Yuna explained, offering a smile. However, Lili was visibly terrified by the revelation.

"Eek! Lost Magic?!" Lili exclaimed before collapsing to her knees.

"Yeah... The process already began, at least three days ago according to my calculations," Yuna confirmed, her eyes glowing with a white light as she continued her investigation.

"Is there any cure?" Nerium inquired.

"There is, but I need to appraise the magic first. Otherwise, I might end up destroying the whole country instead of saving it," Yuna explained, her focus still on the investigation.

"I see... That makes sense," Nerium nodded, while Yukki watched Yuna with awe as she quickly unraveled the mystery.

"What can we even do?" Lili and Levion stood beside Yukki.

"Don't worry, your roles will come in the later part," Yuna assured them with a smile.

"We'd be glad to help, but... you're still suspicious to us. Not in a bad way, just that you're so professional yet look younger than us," Levion remarked.

"Ugh..." Yuna's mood deflated as an arrow struck through her with those words.

"I see... Because I'm younger, huh? Yeah, because I'm younger..." Yuna's tone turned melancholic as she retreated to a corner.

"Hey, that's rude to say!" Lili scolded Levion.

"It hurts! Sorry, Yuna!" Levion apologized, rubbing his head.
