Chap 2: Recalling Memories

*What is that ugly thing doing here?!, ugh..* Evelyn continued watching Liam going to the mansion

'Fucking hell....' she mumbles walking back and forth in her room

*I don't want to meet him now!! That damn Liam Liberton..I just have to calm down.*

Inhale....Exchale....Inhale....Exchale....

'I need to get out of this mansion and go to the garden..That way no one could Interupt me and my peaceful life, but first I have to hide this notebook.'

Evelyn grab her notebook and walk to her closet, she looked behind the closet and hid the notebook where no one can find.

'Alright there we go now all I just have to do now is-'

Suddenly the door was opened immediately which made Evelyn flinched and stood up quickly. Ellenor then shout at Evelyn

'This is all your fault! If you didn't snitch on me and tell dad then me and Liam would've still been together!'

Evelyn scoffs and laughed at Ellenor

'Dont blame me, it's your fault for not being able to hide your relationship with him pretty well'

Ellenor didn't expect this kind of reaction from Evelyn and was taken into a surprise

'Y-you! Don't you have a crush on Liam?, Why are you laughing?!, Father would never let Liam get close to us especially you, ever again!!.'

Evelyn walk towards Ellenor and pat her on the shoulders and whispered into her ear

'You can have Liam, as for I...Well I dont like Liam..Besides who would like to date a gambling addict?, Afterall I heard a rumor saying that Liam lost his assets to a gambling den.'

Evelyn walks out of the room in relief

*Oh my god...I felt like my soul alnost left my body..*

Evelyn accidentally bump into someone which pissed her off

'HEY!- WATCH IT'

Evelyn looked at the person which to her surprise it's Liam. He tries to reach for Evelyn's hand but Evelyn run off saying

'FUCK OFF!'

Liam was shock by her response

*That despicable woman!*

-When Evelyn arrive at the garden-

'huaa...This day can't get any worse...' to Evelyn's disappointment she slumped and sat on the grass. Evelyn looked up at the sky and all her burdens dissapeared 'Hah...Atleast I can get some peaceful ti-' KYAAAAAAAAAAAAA'

Evelyn had a heart attack because of the sudden appearance of Liam's maid.

'Miss please mind your manners when speaking with Sir Liam'

The Maid arrogantly stared at Evelyn lookimg down at her.

'You're one to talk, you're just a servant who doesn't know her place!, who are you to order me around?'

Evelyn laughed at the maid and shoo her away, the maid was angry and pissed off because she couldn't think of any words and answers to argue at Evelyn.

'What an annoyance..tch'

Evelyn lays down and closed her eyes resting her tired body.

*Hah...In my life as a novel write I have a very bad personality and short temper, I always loose my composure especially to those fuckers who are very arrogant and always argue with me.. No wonder I dont have any friends..*

Young Evelyn is in a playground with alot of other children, A boy took her favorite toy and Young Evelyn pushed the boy to the swing and he accidentally fell onto his face. Young Evelyn got in trouble and was scolded by her parents.

A memory flashes to Evelyn,

'Wha..Again??..'

'You're so brave!!' Young children happily praised Evelyn for being able to climb a big tree.

She said as she watch Evelyn being happy for receiving lots of attention. She looked back and saw another different memory..Unlike the first one, it's about the bitter relationship between the 2 sisters. Ellenor worries about Evelyn making reckless decisions

'Evelyn! Please..Don't go there! Aren't you afraid.?'

Evelyn looked at Ellenor with a smug look at her face

'Of course not! They're just a bunch of thugs who don't know their place!'

Evelyn walked through the alley with one of her escorts..,The bustling city of Annapolis was very busy and risky as there are thugs you can encounter,..Ellenor envies her sister but also worries about her.

'Aren't you afraid.?' the voice of Ellenor keeps repeating in Evelyn's head.

'Afraid..? Me, afraid?...'

'Of course...I am afraid..I'm afraid to loose my sister..Im also afraid of what's infront od me, I don't want my sister to worry about such trivial matters! So I have to look brave and courageous..'

'I'm afraid..I'm scared...Mom..please..'

Tears formed on her eyes and fall down to her cheeks.

'I'm afraid that I won't be able to open my eyes and see my apartment, my friends, my family..I want to go home...'

She said. Evelyn opened up her eyes and wiped her tears.

*right this is not the time for crying I should start preparing for the events that's about to happen..I've read alot of novels and manhwas before so I know what happens when a person transmigrated.*

'Whenever I read a transmigration and isekai novel or a manhwa the main character always says "I should run away!" but they never did and end up falling inlove..LIKE WHAT IS THAT??, YOU FELL INLOVE WITH SOMEONE WHO KILLED YOUUU..Ah...There's also something like "The story is..Its changing! I should stick with the original plot!" ugh..the story is already changing like what's the point..'

Evelyn was talking to herself and the gardeners who are taking care of the garden was thinking that Miss Evelyn have gone crazy to the point she speaks unfamiliar language and chants. A rumor about Evelyn loosing her mind and saying random chants and her being a witch have spread in Annapolis.

(Annapolis - A bustling city and the center of trades! It is controlled by Duke Calibron the father of Ellenor and Evelyn. Recently there's been a territorial war between 2 families, the Liberton states and Calibron family. Annapolis current ruler is Duke Calibron.)

*Im 13 this year right.? So when I reach the age of 17 the original female lead Ophelia would appear! So before that happens I should use this opportunity to the best of my abilities..*

Evelyn then goes back in the mansion and saw Liam again, Ellenor was holding onto Liam's arm.

'Don't be surprised..Afterall you saw me and Liam go on a date together..Isn't that right?'

Ellenor talks about her and Liam going to places and their recent visits.

'Recently..Our father agreed on our marriage!'

Ellenor happily mentioned it to Evelyn expecting Evelyn to go crazy.

'Oh..Is that so?, I guess monkeys do get along'

Evelyn smirked at the both of them making Ellenor angry but Liam didn't make any reactions to the situation. Evelyn walked away from them and go to her room ignoring Ellenor's insults.

*I know the reason why Ellenor insults Evelyn so much, she have inferiority comples and feel inferior to Ellenor..Uwah..Ellenor really hated Evelyn due to the favors, love and attention she's been receiving as of now..But I have no intention of clearing these misunderstandings with her just yet.*

Evelyn took a hot warm bath.

'I wonder what happened to the original villainess' soul..But other than that, I have to execute my plan. Ophelia..I dont exactly hate you but there are things I have to do and it forces me to do things I dont want to..'

After Evelyn finished taking a bath she goes to the Library, while she is walking to the library she noticed alot of maids and servants whispering to eachother.

(did you hear? Evelyn is treating us kindly today!)

(that is only for today..maybe she'll come back to her old self again)

(Hah..I dont believe that at all!)

(no way..Miss Evelyn didn't hit anyone today?!)

(I wish Miss Evelyn would stay this way..!)

Evelyn thinks to herself, the whispering and gossips around the maids and servants made Evelyn uncomfortable of the unwanted attention.

'What a headache..'

Evelyn continued walking to the Library and walked pass through the living room where Liam and Ellenor spends their time together.

*fuck..why isn't he going home?!*

Evelyn's mood worsen as she continued walking faster to the Library.

Hah...hah..hah..the panting noises Evelyn made as she lean against the wall with her tired body.

*Why in hell is the library so god damn far? Ugh..*

Evelyn goes inside the library after she took a breather there she meets the librarian whom she forgotten she wrote about.

*I forgot he existed.*
