1 The Basics

The world of Icalongia is a world where people of many different races live but since the War of Races, relations have been spotty within the world. The Elves retreated to The Holy Forest and have cut communication to the outside, the humans and the dwarfs still communicate, while the demon race has completely vanished to the forgotten land and no sighting has been seen in. 100 years. This world functions on magic and freely allows people to gain an affinity to manipulate one or maybe a few elements which include Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire.

The system of magic in this world is developed from Aix which is a single formed energy source that transcends all principles,possibilities,concepts, and gives its user the ability to manipulate one of the eight transcendental elements . There is no known understanding of what caused Aix to appear but the first person to ever contain and control it was Val Magix. Magix claimed "I have no idea how it happened but I dreamed of being able to harness the elements and I awakened to water following my hand movements and fire igniting at a single invocation." People have always been able to manipulate the elements but not to the extent that Aix allows them to. With Aix a mage can take their manipulation to the next level and some can even have the ability to manipulate fate, possibilities, space, time, and even the will and fear of others.
