Revelations I

"The scent of blood is coming out of the cave..." Ragnar said with an intense look.

"The hell are you saying? You said that this place was safe!" I looked at Ragnar hoping for an answer. But he said nothing.

"We..We need to go in immediately!" I lashed out as I was panicking for Levi's sake.

"Stop saying things out loud! I can sense Multiple Beings inside along with her. We need to think of a plan before going in." even while saying all this, Ragnar's demeanor was as calm as ever. But it was not the same for me.

I couldn't think straight with the thought of Levi being in potential danger.

"I don't care! We need to go in and save her!" My shouting got Ragnar angry. He threw me off his back and said,

"I can't save her with the help of an Idiot like you." He was honest and brutal with his words.

Seeing my expression, he sighed...and proceeded

to put his hand in one of his pockets and bring out an energy orb. He tossed it to me and said, "Hold this tightly, clear your mind and try to focus on your wounds."

"Huh..?" What is he asking me to do?

"Tsk, Just close your eyes, Clutch the orb tightly and try telling it to heal your wounds."

"Huh? Those are very vague instructions, you know. But I guess I'll try."

As idiotic as the instructions sounded, nothing 'Normal' was going on currently in my life.

Following Ragnar's instructions, I closed my eyes and focused. For some moments I felt nothing but slowly but surely felt some kind of energy surging through my body.

"Woah, It feels so good!" I said as I kept asking the orb for more and more energy. My body kept feeling better and better. My injuries no longer hurt nor did I feel pain from the broken rib bones. The pain simply vanished away.

"Stop using so much energy! You can't just borrow an infinite amount of energy from the orb. I gave you the orb to heal yourself just enough that you could walk and run! Stop right NOW! You'll trigger 'it' !"

Even though Ragnar told me to stop, I didn't. And then suddenly,

"I said STOP!" said Ragnar as he punched my face.

I fell backwards and groaned in pain.

"Argh! Why did you do that?! My body was almost completely healed! Give it back to me!" I said. And it was true, The orb helped me heal almost all my body. And it felt very pleasant, it was like all the pain and horror went away.

"Do you have any idea what you are saying? Weren't we planning on saving Levi? We don't have time!" said Ragnar.

I just stared at him.

"YOU give into temptations too easily! A person like you is very Slothful! You won't get anything done like this! I thought you had potential but NO! You're worth less than trash!"

...What he said was somewhat true. Hearing his words, My Self-confidence was shattered into a million pieces. But I couldn't show him that.

"Stop with the insults, will you? and I've healed enough anyways. What's your plan?" I stated.

Ragnar sighed and continued, "The voice isn't guiding me this time, So I plan to enter directly from the front and confront the enemy."

"What the hell? That's the best plan you can think of?" I said.

"You got anything better?"

"No.."

"Thought so, moreover the cave is so large that finding another entry would take a Long time. So you have to come with me as there are multiple creatures from what I know. If they are anything like the last one I should be able to deal with them. Meanwhile you grab Levi and escape." Seeing his confidence while stating the plan gave me hope.

"I'll watch out for the enemy too! I've got good eyesight." I said. Ragnar nodded his head.

The weight of the situation was uncanny. We placed our trust in each other and entered the cave to rescue Levi.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The cave was dark yet I could sense the animals and my surroundings. Ragnar was walking right beside me. He took 3 orbs in one hand and started to 'Manifest' his Spear to fight the creatures we were going against.

In the darkness, I was just about able to make out a stream of flowing blood. My heart rate took off, But I tried to remain calm.

"They are a few meters ahead." I whispered to Ragnar. I tried to make it as quiet as possible but my voice still echoed throughout the cave.

I'm sure that they heard us, But surprisingly they didn't charge at us but rather stayed in their location. It meant one thing, those creatures wanted us to come closer. I stood still in fear until...

"Phoenix!! Run! Run out of the run of the cave!" Ragnar let out a loud shout begging me to run outside.

I didn't stop to think even for a second and turned around. I was about to run but was stopped by a drop of blood that fell on my shoulder and I looked at the roof to see...

I am back bitch. (No offence.)
