Chapter 5 First circle Helium

4th, Ashadha, 1965

Ortson takes out the mana potion and the manual of Atomic mana circulation from the drawer of his desk.

Ortson takes a look at the translucent blue potion,

'This will be a turning point in my second life. So, let's do it.'

'So for the first circle, I need to for the atomic model of Helium.'

'The two nodes of mana circulating my mana heart will be negatively charged just like electrons, and mana heart will be positively charged.

This is only possible due to the universal nature of mana through it can mimic any element.'

Ortson open's the cork and drank the whole blue translucent mana potion in one sip.

A warm sensation spread inside Ortson's body.

'Take a deep breath, and focus.'

Suddenly, Ortson's eyes get dilated, his nerves get straightened out, his veins bulged in response to the pain, and blood flow increased exponentially.

Ortson felt that the pain comes from the depth of his soul.

In a way it is true, the imaginary space is inside the soul, right now his imaginary space is overflowing with mana, and Ortson's soul which never has any contact with mana is in pain due to mana overflow.

'This bad, first don't faint, if I faint it's over for me. I need to take deep breaths, the ancient breathing technique, pranayama will save me.'

Little by little the overflowing mana subsidies and settles down inside Ortson's imaginary space.

By the time Ortson completed the model of helium, 3 hrs. have passed which means a day has passed and today is the 5th of Ashadha,1965.

'I can feel the mana flowing inside me, now I am a first circle mage, to become 2nd circle mage apprentice. I have to create the atomic model of neon to become 2nd circle mage apprentice.'

'Ah, I am tired, after almost dying, even if I have not died I would not have been in the position of walking around for the next few days, and I just got my job today.'

Ortson closed his eyes and fell into the world's darkness hoping to have dreams of his past.

11th, Ashadha, 1965

It's been seven days Since Ortson became the first circle mage apprentice.

As the saying goes- 'The more things change, the more they stay the same.'

Ortson also practices Null Bullet, Reinforcement, and Shield.

Every day after waking up at 6 am, he meditates in sync with the pranayama breathing technique for 15 minutes, then starts practicing magic.

While practicing magic Ortson nearly injured himself many times.

'If not for the advice from Alya, I would have become crippled. Reinforcement magic is dangerous magic, if I use the wrong amount of mana in my body my veins might burst, If I use the wrong amount of mana on an inanimate object I might break them.'

To use reinforcement magic Ortson needed to do a lot of trial and error.

Null Bullet is the most simple magic. Anybody can use it, they just need to imagine it. Null bullets have many derivatives like flame bullets, aqua bullets, geo bullets, gale bullets, ice bullets, etc.

'To increase the penetration power of the Null bullet I just need to rotate it. Due to this I gained more penetration power with less consumption.'

And the Last Shield.

'The hardest part of the shield was to maintain the flow of mana constant, which I am still unable to do completely.'

When it's 7 am Ortson get's up from his bed goes out and runs around the apartment complex and exercises around 8 am.

After that Ortson returns to his room to have a shower to wipe off his sweat. Cook himself a meal, a reads a book that he borrowed from the library on the recommendation of Alya.

By 9:30 he leaves the apartment after locking the door and window.

The Alchemy Association is at 20 min walk from the apartment complex.

'I have reached on time, Let's start today's work, After work today I have to return books to Library.'

Today also will be another repetitive and steady day in Ortson's life.
