PART 2 - THE FIRST TIME MEETING YOU

Today Kalila has finished her class at 10.15. Actually, in every Wednesday, Kalila doesn't have any class neither in the afternoon nor evening.

"Selvi, wanna buy some food first or just get back home?" Kalila asked her close friend since her high school.

"I wanna buy my lunch first, Kal. There's no food at home," said Selvi.

"Your mother didn't cook at home, Sel?" Kalila asked while putting the book in her bag.

"My mom isn't at home. My brother and I never asked auntie to cook when it was just the two of us," said Selvi, who had already stood up from her seat.

Finished tidying up their stuffs, Kalila and Selvi walked out of the classroom. They went to the first floor. One thing that mostly accounting students complain about is that they have to study on the third floor in almost every course.

"How if we meet my bro first, Kal? I forgot to bring my money," Selvi grinned widely in front of Kalila.

"That's fine," answered Kalila, agreeing to Selvi's request.

Actually, Kalila went to campus by riding her motorbike. Although, the distance between the economics faculty and the mathematics faculty was not that far, Kalila and Selvi then decided to walk by themself.

The fact that they have been friends for a long time, Kalila have already known that Selvi has an older brother. But if you ask if Kalila has ever met Selvi's brother or not? The answer is: No. She ain't ever met him yet.

Why? Because when Selvi was in the high school, she didn't live with her brother. Her older brother was studying at the other city and rarely coming home. That's the reason why Kalila has never seen how Selvi's brother's looks like.

"Were you having dinner with Galang, yesterday, Kal?" Selvi asked and breaking the silence.

Kalia shook her head. "He's busy. He can't be bothered."

"Tskk! That's a boring excuse. Just say if he was just lazy for meeting you, "said Selvi with a face that looks like pretty hate about that.

Kalila didn't reply. No matter what she said, Selvi will still be angry with what Galang did. You know, ever since the first time they met, Selvi already didn't like Galang and she didn't agree that Kalila was dating this guy at all.

"If I were you, I'll just just break up with him. I freaking swear! I can't help to see that Gelang's face anymore. You know how the way he always pretends to be nice in front of many people but with his own girlfriend, is like the definition of the real DEVIL!" Selvi fully expressing her annoyance.

"His name is Galang, Sel. Not Gelang," said Kalila.

"Whatever! I'm already done with him!"

Selvi always wonders why Kalila still being stuck with Galang. In fact, many other guys are queuing up to be Kalila's boyfriend. Like, if Kalila broke up with Galang, it would not be a big loss for Kalila herself.

Kalila is beautiful and smart. There must be other guy who is way better and more worthy to be with Kalila other than Galang.

"Which class' your brother in, Sel?" Kalila asked after they both arrived at the mathematics faculty building.

"D1 room 101," Selvi read the message sent by her brother.

Kalila focused on one by one rooms beside her. After arriving at the front of the room which Selvi said, Kalila stopped her steps.

"Not finished yet, Sel," said Kalila, glancing at the inside of the room.

"What a habit of him! Let's just go in there, Kal, "said Selvi. She took Kalila's hand and meant to take her together into the classroom.

"Don't!" stop Kalila fast. "It wouldn't be polite if we just went straight in and interrupt the class."

"Where's the impoliteness? You know, I'm the younger sister of the lecturer who's teaching there," said Selvi who was about to go into the class and then was detained by Kalila.

"It's still disrespectful, Selvi. Let's just wait here," Kalila takes Selvi to sit on the long seat in front of the classroom.

"How could they enjoy being lectured by my brother. He even never smile at anyone. How boring!" Selvi grumbled endlessly.

"Maybe the way your brother lecturing his students' just easy to understand, Sel. That's why a lot of students like him," Kalila were trying to give her opinion even though she had never met Selvi's brother in person before.

"Easy to understand? He just using his handsome face. All of his students joining his class just because they wanna see his face as a handsome lecturer, they said. There's no way because they love statistics as if, "said Selvi disagreed with Kalila's opinion.

After that Kalila no longer replied to Selvi's words. She doesn't dare to give her more opinion. Before Kalila met a person in person herself, She ain't used to judging someone without a clear evidence.

"I think it's already finished, Kal" said Selvi.

Several students were seen coming out of the classroom carrying thick blue books each of them.

"Veer!"

Selvi immediately approached Veer who'd just come out of the class. Other people who don't know that Selvi is actually Veer's biological younger sister look so surprised the time when they see her suddenly approaching Veer casually.

"What?" asked Veer.

"Gimme some money," Selvi held up her one hand. "I forgot to bring my wallet and left it at home."

"For what? Don't dare buying a bag or shoes! I'm not gonna give any of my money to buy those seshh to you," Veer wanted to make sure that the money his sister asked for wasn't for buying less important things.

"For buying my lunch, Bro. At the small shop behind the campus," Selvi answered honestly.

"Eat at home then. Lemme just cook for you."

"No way!" Selvi refused. "I'm literally hungry right now. And you'll just come home at the afternoon. How can I eat your cooking at home?"

"You just had your breakfast at six this morning. Are you already hungry now?" Veer is surprised by his sister's attitude.

Kalila who was standing behind Selvi did not say anything. It was not Kalila's business and she also had no right to interfere them.

"This must be enough. You can't ask me for more," said Veer after giving Selvi some money.

"Okay. I'll try my best to be more wise on spending money," Selvi replied without enthusiasm.

"Wait, You'll have your lunch with?"

"A buddy of mine."

Veer's one of his eyebrow raised. Asking Selvi to explain more about which friend he meant.

"OH YEAHH I FORGOT!" Selvi's voice made Kalila surprised.

"I wanna introduce you to my friend," Selvi pulled Kalila's hand so that she stood next to her.

"She's Kalila. My bestest friend from high school. The one whom I's always telling to you."

Kalila quickly bowed her head. "Morning, Sir"

Veer's gaze turned to Kalila. Just an ordinary stare but successfully made her feel intimidated.

What Kalila felt was Veer literally watching her from the top to the bottom. As if it's just to give an assessment of Kalila's appearance.

Oh God! Kalila hopes she doesn't make any mistake on her first day ever meeting him.

"Morning."

The answer that Veer gave was enough to make Kalila relieved. Not long after that Veer walked away from Selvi and Kalila.

"Kal," Selvi called, but Kalila didn't reply right away.

"Kalila!"

"What?!"

Selvi was shocked when she heard Kalila yell at her. "You don't have to be so loud, Kal. My ears're still working normally."

"Yeah, I'm sorry," said Kalila feeling guilty.

"What's wrong with you? Why's your face being so red like that?" asked Selvi.

Kalila shook her head several times. "I'm really scared to see your brother's gaze, Sel. It's like dealing with an examiner for real."

"You sure just scared of him? Then how? He's pretty handsome, right?" Selvi teased.

"Ughhh, Selvi. Please, I'm literally really scared by him but you make it as a funny joke, do you?," replied Kalila, who's still remembering how Veer stare at her earlier.

Selvi laughed at Kalila's answer. "My brother is just that kind of person, Kal. He said that he doesn't wanna intimidate people anymore. But yeah, his eyes' gaze does look like how assassin's tough."

Kalila agreed with Selvi's opinion. Veer is handsome but his gaze is scary. He's definitely not her type of man she wanted at all.
