The confrontation (4)

"As expected of leader mash, he killed one of the Retainers with just his breath." A dragon standing on the right spoke while all other dragon laughed but the expression on the face of mash contorted, deactivating his [Fire age] ability he looked at all other dragons.

"Fools, we have been fighting with his illusionary clones till now, his real body is somewhere else, spread out and find him." He shouted and everyone scattered including the leader mash around the teleportation dome.

I had installed 3 devises around the teleportation dome and hid them perfectly so no one could find them but last devise was to be installed where the dragons were having a fight with my clones.

I was able to fool the dragons because I had activated my [Illusion domain] the moment I spotted them but the moment my [Illusion domain] weakened a little the leader caught whim of my plan but I had done what I wanted to do and just the one last thing remained to be done.

The dragons spread around the dome while 2 dragons remained to guard it from the front, their attention was focused somewhere in the distance where a fierce fight was currently going on between 8th leader and two beast and at the same time far away in the distance a powerful blast occurred and a mushroom cloud appeared in the sky whose shockwave reached our position in the blink of an eye.

"That is the position of 2nd teleportation blocking formation, it just got destroyed we have to defend this formation with our lives we can't let those traitors escape." He said but his attention moved in the distance where he saw 2 beasts running toward them at full momentum enough to crush them while the fight in the distance seems to have ended.

"Those are the 2 X ranked beast whom 8th leader Orion wakes was fighting, those weakling leaders couldn't handle 2 beasts and protect one teleportation formation engage them in fight Xavier, and I will protect the formation and call for reinforcement." One dragon charged toward the beast's illusion which I had created while other roared on top of his lung his roar audible throughout the facility.

Andrew has completed his task and If I don't finish mine soon, he will have to come here instead of going to help Agatha and Sam, it is my time to act thinking this I squeezed every bit of mana from my core and created on more illusion in which the leader of red dragon pack approached the dragon who was guarding the formation.

"Leader mash you are here." When the dragon saw illusion of his leader approach him he said.

"Go and engage with enemy, we haven't found that dragon that made illusion yet, I will protect the formation." The dragon nodded and left to fight while I dig the ground near entrance of teleportation formation and buried the last device in the ground and cancelled all the illusion which left two dragons left standing in the empty space where X ranked beasts and their leader once stood.

"What the fuck is happening here?" The dragon Xavier spat out in angry tone while the other dragon charged at the teleportation formation entrance understanding his mistake but it was too late.

With a snap of my finger I activated all 4 devises which made another silver dome ver the already existing golden dome completely sealing the teleportation blocking formation from outside.

It was an artifact specifically designed by Lord Alex with his deep understanding of space to destroy the teleportation blocking formation employed by king no matter how strong or complex they were, if this failed we will have to use brute force to break it but it had worked just fine for Andrew and for me as well.

Soon the silver dome started to absorb the mana from the teleportation blocking formation at a terrifying rate and soon the leader of the red dragon pack arrived with questioning expression.

"Leader mash, h-he tricked us all." Xavier said in fearful tone but leader mash understanding his situation instead of protecting the dome ran in opposite direction where I was headed and where beasts and 8th leader were fighting.

Other dragons followed their leader and by now the teleportation formation has overcharged and started to pulse and continuously shrink and expand and when I had distanced myself from formation around 4 kilometer it exploded with an ear piercing sound.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM

A mushroom shaped cloud of gas quickly reached the sky and shook the whole earth but I kept myself distancing from it and other dragons did the same until I reached the place where both beast and 8th leader were fighting.

They both were bloodied while rhino was missing one hand and peter seemed to have incurred some deep injuries all over his body which were healing slowly. On the other hand 8th leader seemed totally unaffected apart from his clothes and the reason for this was the silver ring shining in his finger.

The wounds were not a big issue but what worried us was our exhausted condition. I was in no condition to cast another big illusion while we have to deal with 8th leader and 10 fire dragons that have avoided the explosion and were coming in our direction.

"So the rat that slipped has completed his mission and came here to join you in your last moments." The 8th leader stored his ring away in his space rune; he seemed to have recovered to his peak condition.

"Andrew, we have destroyed the teleportation blocking formation and need immediate evacuation." I retrieved a communication crystal and contacted Andrew.

"Okay." He said that and the earth beneath our feet started to shake. 8th leader had the very bad premonition about this so without any care, he charged at us firing hundreds of weapon at once while from behind us more than 6 [Dragon breaths] were fired to turn us into ashes but before both of them can reach us the ground beneath us swallowed us and took us where Andrew intended.

The last thing I sensed before disappearing was both the attacks collide and a shockwave pushing us but we disappeared underground deep while both the 8th leader and 10 fire dragon kept attacking the earth where we have vanished.
