"You're supposed to be making up for last night but you have hardly spoken to me since we left the castle. You can not be that mad at me for mentioning those books? If you read and enjoy them, you should not be embarrassed when someone mentions them," Killian said, not putting together what the big deal was. 

"It is one thing for you to bring up those books to me but it is another for you to acknowledge that Gina reads them especially when she is present. I cannot stop picturing how embarrassed she was and how quickly she got out of our room. You need to apologize to her when we go home. I know demons have their ways but that wasn't fun for her. Please," Amelia pleaded with him.

Gina had rushed out of the room so quickly that Amelia had no time to explain Killian had found out about those books on his own.

"If it will make us move past this then I have a problem apologizing. Now," he held her hand to bring her closer to him. "Are things better between us?"
