Chapter 2: the young travelers

"Where am I?" Wondered scarlet as she sat up. She looked for the others, and found them still unconscious on the grass. THE GRASS!! They were just inside before they fell unconscious. "Where's the door!!" She frantically looked around and saw only grass and a blue sky. "Wake up," she said as she shook Dash and Henry up. The two boys slowly woke up, "Is it time for breakfast," Dash asked as he stretched. You could see his face change as he realized what he did not too long ago. He frantically got up and ran around looking for the door they came in from, or is it out from.

After hours of searching, they couldn't find the door again. They grouped together to plan what to do. "Okay, we are lost, and there's nothing in sight," Henry said as they huddled together, "the first thing we need to do is find a city, there we can work our way back to New York." "Where are we?" asked Dash. "I wish I knew that." Said Henry looking up at the night sky, "Wait, look up. I'm not seeing things, am I?" The other two looked up and was shocked, there were two moons right there.

"This is not Earth," said Dash as he staggered back, and fell on his butt, "where are we?"

Suddenly they heard a horse whinny in the distance. "Maybe there's someone there." Said Henry as he got up, " let's go." They got up and went towards the sound of the horse.

They saw a long caravan of about 10 large horse drawn covered wagons. There was knights! Big plate Mail armor, big horses, a sword, and shield knights. True medieval knights. There where about 3 knights one on the left, right, and back, side. In the front there was 2 people they could only describe as adventures. They looked like twins, they each had light armor, a bow, short sword, and small shield. They were guarding a fat man, he didn't have any scars, and carried only a whip.

Our three main characters went out to say hello. "Hi," said Dash, "can I ride a horse?"

The fat man looked to the adventures and whispered something to them. They shook their heads. He looked at the three curiously then had a great big smile. It was almost a creepy smile. He whispered something to them again, and they had that same smile they got off of their horses. The fat man motioned for them to come closer and they did. "Hello, hellooo, are you listening," asked Dash as they went closer.

Suddenly the 2 twins moved in union they started to mumble strange things and moving their hand weirdly. The fat guy went to a box on the back of the carriage. As Henry, Dash, and Scarlett reached the caravan, the twins hands suddenly started glowing. "What are they doing," asked Scarlett. Suddenly, the twins grabbed each of them. Once they touched someone, they were immobilized. Soon, Dash, Henry, and Scarlett were all immobilized.

The fat man pulled out three iron collars. And put it on each of them meanwhile, the twins were doing that weird motions again. Our three main characters suddenly started floating. They finally saw what was in the wagons, there were slaves. They were carried up into the last wagon, suddenly they could move again.

"Where are we?" Asked Scarlett, " I thought slavery was illegal." She sad another kid in the wagon with them. "Do you know where we are?"

"Knarf alierch vord kavard." Said the boy.

"I'm just going to call it Vord."

"Knarf alierch vord kavard."

"Let's just try to get some sleep." Said Henry as he lay down, "we can be ready for anything if we have enough sleep."
