CHAPTER 305: conditions (1)
The entire courtyard was quiet as the father and son stared at her full of surprised.
"smart, now that you know you should pack your things and go back down there" ming lang ji praised, but his next words make yu yue's eyelids twitch a little angry.
"uncle, grandfather. Aren't you all happy to be reunited with us?" she closed her eyes as she clenched her hands tightly.
"I was very happy to be able to reunite with you, but this isn't the right time" ming lang ji heaved a deep breath.
"I was glad too, I can finally be assured that our clan would definitely have a good future" patriarch ming jian also added in a soft voice but his voice sounded happy.
"then that's enough reason for me to stay" yu yue said decisively with a smile.
"lass---" patriarch ming jian was about to persuade her but she cut him short.
"second uncle, your plan was really harsh. You wanted to drown me with guilt for coming here so I'll go back obediently. Seeing grandfather's timing I assume you're all in this, this must be my mother's last attempt. Too bad though, I'm not buying it. I'm staying here whether you all like it or not" she stood up with a snort and walks away.
"this isn't easy for us too" ming lang ji spoke loudly.
"neither for us too" yu yue replied without pausing.
After she left yu chang lu and ming tai yang appeared. They heard everything so they didn't spoke as they all sat down staring in the empty space.
"I told you all this isn't going to work, now they're all angry at us" ming lang ji sighed dispiritedly.
"brother in law, forget it." yu chang lu also sigh helplessly.
"what should we do then?" he asked in frustration.
"let's change our plans, we have to postpone the inevitable. Just as xing he suggested, we might really have a chance if we ask for their help. You also heard of my daughters' feats" yu chang lu smiled proudly, her smile was genuine this time.
"right, your daughters are all as stubborn as an ox" patriarch ming jian eyed his stubborn son, the atmosphere lit up and they just laughed away their problems.

That night yu yue sorted her thoughts and made arrangements.
For the next three months she busied herself with studying, she asked for butler de ling jiu's guidance as she studied the mechanisms and arrays of the place.
She also occasionally tours around to pick some rare herbs and materials. Every night she would cultivate diligently, seeing her change of attitude the others immediately pick on it and started improving themselves like crazy.
Sheng shi jie becomes their temporary teacher again. He didn't mind though; he also needs to exercise some muscles. Besides he could see that the nicer he was to her friends the more she treated him warmly.
He didn't even notice that his heart was already starting to crave her attention, now and then he would sneak in to her courtyard and tease her. The more he bantered with her the more she opens up to him. Besides it was a kind of enjoyment for the both of them to be this way, both of them feels like it's just normal.
