The two hung their head low full of guilt.
It wasn't long before ming yu xue lifted her head stared at her father in the eyes directly.
"father, you also know it's the only thing we can't do. Do you really think this is fair to yu yue? You know how smart she is, I bet she already figure it out on her own even though we made efforts of leaving her out from crucial matters. She's also your daughter, do you really think she would be so different from us?"
"right father, it might even be worst if she found things on her own and do things rashly." Ming yu hua also added.
"that…" ming tai yang was stunned, indeed his daughters have a point. "but you should at least stall time… until everything was okay" he said softly, as he looks away not confident of his answer.
"wait until our clan truly meet its demised? How do you think would we keep living in peace if we know you're all not doing well here? We'd rather die with the clan than hide in the lower realm like cowards" ming yu xue said as she turned her back and leave, ming yu hua also left after her.
The study was finally quiet, ming tai yang slumped in his seat in frustration.

"eavesdropping eh" a light voice sounded right behind yu yue, scaring her so bad.
"s-second uncle, I was just passing by. Hehehehe" she scratches her head sheepishly. When her sisters were summoned she thought she would also get called but she wasn't so she decided to resort to eavesdropping.
"haha, you can't fool me. Xing he wasn't wrong of you" he laughs lightly as his wheelchair steered towards her.
"what did uncle xing he told you second uncle?" yu yue asked curiously.
"let's talk somewhere, this isn't the right place" ming lang ji smiled softly and lead the way.
"okay, let me help" yu yue offered as she pushed the wheelchair without waiting for his reply. He then leads her to his own courtyard.
"so why are you eavesdropping just now?" he raised his amused brows after asking for a servant to serve them tea.
"well, I feel like they always leave me in the dark so it makes me curious." She replied with embarrassment. She was silently angry at butler white and little tear for not alerting her. She couldn't help but wonder how powerful this uncle of her was, she didn't even notice his presence if he didn't spoke.
"what do you know?" he asked after eyeing her with a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips, she already know that this uncle of hers wasn't as simple as he appeared to be.
"nothing that you already know of" she smiled bitterly.
"I see, well I can tell you if you want" he said after a long paused.
"really? Won't that be against my mother's wishes?" she pursed her lips, she couldn't understand her uncle.
"then you just won't have to disappoint me" he laughs amused by her.
