"You placed us into different teams." Lun stated as they were heading back into their own room.

The halls were quiet, the palace was not bustling with servants as per usual. The veil of grief for their beautiful princess had turned everyone silent, invisible almost like ghosts.

Even in this deadly silence, that would make many people want to whisper, Lun's voice was loud and clear, his eyes staring right into Xan's as the crown prince stopped and looked at him.

"It is better that way. More secure. We can't have many people seeing us together. Only few even in the palace know about us." he told him and his lover scoffed, a bitter grin growing on his handsome face. Xan tried to enter their room, his hand on the handle but Lun stopped him, placing his palm on top of his and pulling the door closed.

They were so close, his breath landed steadily on Xan's pinkish lips, his eyes wandering all over the pale face.
