Chapter-12

It was written in the book 'Beginning's guide to magic' that the soul world was the most important part of a magi, It was the source of all magic and where runes had their meaning, without it there would be no point to a mage.

And just like so, The creation a.k.a formation of the soul world is also the most important step in the path of mastering magic, nothing must be allowed to go wrong in this step.

To Start this vital procedure of creating a soul world, one must concentrate on the meditation painting and the runes written there to enter the initiation of the soul-world formation state.

And just as mentioned before, entering this 'state' requires an unusually long period of time ranging from 1 to even 10 years.

Fortunately, For Lui Yang, he didn't have to wait that long, as for some reason, the two random blokes that saved him had an extremely high talent in magic

...

Under the glorious light of the night sky, In a midst of a dense forest and on the side of a waterfall, a gentle flame was burning out in the open

In front of it, was Xu le And Xu Yi Sitting cross-legged with the mediation set in their hands.

Although, it seem as if nothing was happening to them.

Looking closely, one could see their pupils which look unfocused seem to have a galaxy with trillions of stars revolving in them.

Seeing all of these happening, by the site was Lui Yang sitting and observing intently.

This was the infamous Soul world-formation state, the step he completely omitted due to the game system, it is also the crucial part of becoming a mage, and as a once elite mage, there was no way he was going to miss this important event.

~Who knows, it might even be the birth of the first magi in this world~

Thinking up to this he continued observing.

The soul world formation of a mage unlike its preparatory phase should not require too much time.

Depending on whether or not, everything goes well it should last about 24 hours only, however, if anything were to go wrong and say they were to be injured in the process it could even last forever, making the attempter stuck in this state and eventually dying of hunger.

This was a dangerous process and Lui Yang even wanted to execute this project in the small shed where the danger of wild animals was sparse.

However, upon further thinking about it and under the insistence of the two, he decided to execute it here as the healing pond was readily available even if anything goes wrong and since wild animals were no longer spotted near this area.

Just as Lui Yang was thinking hard on what could go wrong, suddenly out of nowhere, a violent yet soft wind explosion broke out from the two as tears of blood flows out from their open eyes.

"It has begun" he muttered.

The forest suddenly became extremely quiet at this moment as if time had been stopped.

The glowing fish in the ponds stops flapping about and even peek their heads out to take a look.

The insect chirping in the night had also gone silent.

Lui Yang even felt the trees in the surrounding rustle abit as if they had become alive and were waiting eagerly for what was about to come.

...

It was dark.

Everything the eyes could see was absolute darkness spaning endlessly in all directions.

And Standing directly in the midst of this hazy darkness were, Xu le and Xu Yi in their own perspective.

They were quite confused standing here, terrified even.

But for some reason, they didn't panic.

They felt as if this darkness wasn't going to harm them, they felt as if this darkness although bizarre, was quite nostalgic as if it was a part of them.

A part of them, they had already forgotten or perhaps could not see, it felt incredibly peaceful here, warm even.

However just as the two were getting familiar with their warm surroundings, A Golden white light suddenly erupted in front of them, disturbing the peaceful darkness they were in.

It was bright, it was so incredibly bright that it was illuminating the entire dark place, up to the point where Xu le and Xu Yi could not see.

Until finally the light finally calms and lo and behold, in front of them was a-

"A door?" they questioned.

Yes, it was a door, A large mysterious door draped in all kinds of colors and beautiful runes carved in them.

However, as beautiful as this door that erupted from nowhere was.

It was intimidating!! even as it stood there, it seems as if the entire black space was trembling, running away from this monstrosity.

Even Though Xu le and Xu Yi were not here in their physical form, standing in front of this door they felt as if breathing had become harder.

They felt as if they were carrying the entire weight of the world on their shoulder.

And not only that, unlike how it felt when it was darkness surrounding them, they were terrified and scared.

It felt as if the door was trying to crush them, grind them, murder them, slaughter them and eat them.

'Run' This was an instinctive fear they felt from the very depths of their very soul.

But instead of running they stood rooted to the ground.

As much of a horrifying pressure the door was giving out, the door was also made of a beautiful picture.

A colorful one with the rising Sun Surrounded by an endless sea, in the case of Xu le, and A starry sky filled with a dense amount of stars in the case of Xu Yi

It was the painting they had picked from their teacher.

As much as they wanted to run from the door, the painting was calling out to them, It had chosen them just as they had chosen it.

Their very hearts were longing to see what was beyond this door.

The path to magic and power which their master had described of.

Taking a deep breath, they took a step forward, and as their feet touches the ground, they could feel the fear intensifies and the dark space tremble with every step they took.

The ground had even become murky as if they were walking on mud, as if the dark space was trying to stop them from further approaching.

It was like walking on a forbidden path, which no man was made to walk.

But even so, they didn't stop.

They keep on walking forward one step at a time and finally..... stood directly in front of it.

Standing there, they could feel the solemn and terrifying atmosphere that the door was letting out.

But without hesitation, they slowly reach out their hands and pushed it open with all their might.
