The Ambush

Chapter 14

The boy, after reaching the halfway point of the second stage, was very happy but still wasn't that much satisfied. He was a little exhausted but still, all of them headed to the kingdom. On the way, Tanuj asked him, "How did you reach the halfway point so easily?" "I don't know, when I started to absorb chi, it automatically converted into a solid foundation, and suddenly, I felt a wolf and a dragon next to me," replied Yagami.

Nishan and Tanuj were asking him way too many questions, and they were irritating him for real. Still, he didn't do anything to them, and in the end, Sushank scolded them both to shut up! After Sushank scolded them, they were silent, and Yagami was finally feeling well after that.

The boy and others, after a few days of traveling, came close to the border of the Kingdom. But when others were about to enter, Sushank told them to wear masks and clothes so they wouldn't be recognized. All of them agreed and went behind a tree. They changed their clothes and put masks on their faces, and all of them were ready.

After a while, all of them were in front of the gate. The guard told them to give a little bit of chi in this ball. "Okay," replied Sushank. After giving the chi in the ball, they went, and the boy, with an amazed and delighted face, thought to himself, "This is way too beautiful." They all went inside and started to look for a room to stay. But they didn't find a place to stay until the sun was about to set. Finally, they found a place.

The boy, with an amazed face, asked them, "Are we really going to stay here?" asked Yagami. The place was actually good and luxurious, and all of them went inside the hotel. Yagami looked everywhere and found it very luxurious, and they went in front of the receptionist and asked her if there were any rooms to stay.

The receptionist told them there are two rooms still left and asked, "Are you going to book one or both rooms?" "One room, please," replied Sushank. The receptionist told him it would cost them 50,000 RS. "Okay, here's the money," replied Sushank, and all of them went inside their room.

With a tense environment in their room, Sushank created a sound barrier and told them to listen carefully. "From on word within 10 days, all of us are going to ambush the Khas family!"

Yagami, with a serious face, asked him if he was really going to attack them. "Is it really okay to attack them with only four of us?" "Yes, you don't need to worry much because they mainly focus on their speed. So you just need to minimize their speed, and we will focus on that matter on the 7th day."

On the 7th day, all of them were gathered by Sushank in a dense forest to train and counter the speed of the Khas family. Sushank told them simply to destroy the whole surface where they are running; it will not let them reach their top speed.

He told Yagami, Tanuj, and Nishan to run at their top speed and try to attack. All of them, with focused eyes, dashed towards Sushank, but he dodged all of their attacks and blows. He told them to attack him with all their power and speed, and all of them, with a barrage of attacks and blows, attacked him. But he dodged all of them. In the end, he flicked a finger on all of their heads, sending them far away. But in the end, all of them used their own moves: Tanuj with Venasa 1st form, Nishan with Howling Fist 1st form, and the boy with a new technique created by himself. He chanted the word "Rasatala," and all of their attacks combined, shattering the space and bending time, headed toward Sushank. He, with a grim face, took out his soul reaper, a 4th order sword, and chanted the words "Venasa 3rd form, Garha Venasa!"

Their attacks colliding with each other created a big rift in space, shattered the space and time of its surroundings, and caused massive nuclear damage all over the place. But in the end, all of the boys were on the ground, and after some time, all of them recovered and discussed how to penetrate the defensive barrier of the Khas family. In the end, all of them got a concussion to let Sushank go first and destroy the barrier, and the rest would ambush in secret.

All of them agreed, and the boy thought to himself, "So he's still hiding his power. That attack he used just destroyed space and time." Suddenly, all of them asked Yagami, "What was that attack you used?" "Oh, that's my own technique."

All of them were amazed. Sushank praised him because the attack he used was comparable to Venasa and Howling Fist. The boy, with a happy face, told them, "We should return now," and Sushank replied, "He's right. We should return now, or they will get suspicious."

All of them left the forest with the rift and were happy. But they didn't notice that there was a mysterious person watching them from afar, and he thought to himself, "That boy has improved!" and left.

And for the 8th day, they all did the same training, and on the 9th day, Sushank told them to gather chi into a solid form and channel it into the Luminary Stone. The stone, infused with a huge amount of chi, was really red, and he told them to throw it. They did as he said, and the stone, upon landing, caused huge destruction and created a huge hole. All of them were shocked, ready, and Sushank gave them 10 Luminary Stones and told them to be safe.

On the final day, all of them gathered at the Khas family's place, and from afar, they looked toward the Khas family and nodded to each other. They told each other to be safe, and Sushank told them if there's any danger, just run and be safe.

All of them dashed towards the Khas family, Sushank at the main gate, and the rest heading towards the back.
