"What do you mean the governor's wife is missing?" Artemis asked Myrtle who had come to his study immediately she had discovered this.

"It appears she has been missing for about a week," supplied Myrtle. She had gone to the governor's house earlier when she had been informed that the governor's wife had not been seen for a week and the police was only just going to investigate the house.

"We were only there a week ago," commented Artemis in disbelief. He could feel the onset of a headache. He had enough in his plate already.
