Dying!!

Many people on Earth said:

"Death represents a new beginning!!"

It sounds beautiful. But what they forget to inform you is the torturous pain you have to feel before death. They also forgot to mention long waiting lines after death.

Since his 'death', Kenichi has been waiting in a line. To be accurate, his body was moving on autopilot and he had no control over it. It was like watching a cutscene in a video game.

During Kenichi's queuing, he saw what he assumed was hell below his 'transparent surface' and heaven above him. Infront of him were three paths.

The left path had a dirty and burning staircase going downwards and the right path had beautiful a beautiful staircase going upwards. The middle path was just a path moving forward and this was the path Kenichi's body took.

'Neither hell nor heaven. Feels menacing.'

After taking the middle path for quite a while, a huge double gate was seen with many ghostly faces on it. When Kenichi's body reached the gates, they opened. Once he entered, the gates behind him closed and disappeared.

Once the gates disappeared, Kenichi regained his control over his body. Looking around, Kenichi realized he was in a sky blue room that looked like infinite space, as if he was floating in the sky.

In front of him was a middle aged man with 2 pairs of grey wings and black hair. Both the occupants of the 'room' looked at each other before Kenichi decided to break the silence.

"Yo"

A standard greeting is what Kenichi thought would be most appropriate. Such a dumbass.

"Greetings Kenichi and welcome to the Realm of Reincarnation, a place where your next life will be decided by the Karma you gained in your life."

"Karma?"

"Yes Karma. Karma is the accumulation of all your good and bad deeds and intentions behind the act also affect your karma sometimes. For example a bad deed done with good intentions will have a varying decrease in the amount of bad karma you may gain."

Kenichi thought the concept of Karma was quite similar to his last life.

"Cool. How much Karma do I have?"

"Karma has no numerical quantity but rather can be seen by our eyes naturally similar to an aura. Your Karma is definitely above average but nothing too impressive."

"Understandable. And who are you?"

"I am the angle of Reincarnation, #@$?\%&*. Though you probably would not be able to say my name since it requires a certain organ that humans lack."

"Right about that since I am dead how am I in a body right now?"

"A new body was created for you to host temporarily."

"How convenient. What now?"

"You only have enough Karma for one small wish and random, luck based, reincarnation using gambling wheels."

"I see. First the gambling wheels then I will make a wish."

"Alright"

As the Angel of Reincarnation said that, a large wheel appeared behind him from underneath the 'ground' that looked like it doesn't exist.

'I'm strangely excited'

The large wheel had far too many sections to count each had a universe name. The angel moved his hand a little and the wheel started spinning quickly before slowing down and stopping at a section named NCW-0012.

"What is NCW-0012."

Kenichi asked the meaning of NCW-0012 or rather the universe name.

"It means you will be reborn in the Ninja Chakra World No. 12 or in other words an alternate Naruto Universe as you may call it."

Kenichi suddenly had a random thought of no importance.

'Since its 0012 then there are atleast 1000 AUs and at most 9999 AUs. That's incredible! A Naruto multiverse.'

While he was thinking, 7 more wheels appear each as big as the previous wheel. Each had none as a section which was disturbingly big.

'What is this ripoff? Is this the difference between above average Karma and enormous Karma?'

The Angel then explained that each wheel from left to right corresponds to a particular 'gift' one may gain but the none section which dominates 25% of each wheels means no 'gift' given. However just because a none section is chosen doesn't mean one can't get it.

For Example, if Kenichi got a talent of none doesn't mean he will be talentless but rather he will not gain talent from the angel but can gain talent through rebirth.

The First wheel has many different Kekkei Genkai or Kekkei Tora etc., except Dojutsu. The Angel spun the wheel which landed on Swift Release.

'Swift Release huh. Its not bad but I might have to create my own techniques for this one.'

The Second wheel has many Dojutsu such as Sharingan, Jogan, Shenrigan etc. though some of them were not heard in the series such as Hikugan, Shiogan, Yomegan etc. The Angel spun the wheel which landed on Yonggan.

"What is Yonggan?"

Kenichi asked about his eyes while also happy that he got a Dojutsu since most of the most powerful people in the Naruto verse have some Dojutsu.

"The Yonggan or Dragon eyes are eyes that are part of another clan on par with the Otsutsuki Clan named Yong or Dragon Clan. Its abilities will be known to you when you unlock it yourself."

Kenichi was now clearly excited since this would give him a chance to equal the Otsutsuki.

The Third wheel had many Powers that did not need energy like quirks such as One For All, All For One, New Order etc. The Angel spun the wheel which landed on None.

'Something like super regeneration or telekinesis would have been useful but alright.'

The Fourth wheel had many Talents such as Kenjutsu Talent, Ninjutsu Talent etc. The Angel spun the wheel which landed on Chakra Talent (Highest).

"What's that?"

"Chakra Talent (Highest) give your Chakra the highest level of natural growth rate for Chakra."

'Oh that's nice. I wonder if I can reach the Chakra levels of a tailed beast.'

The Fifth wheel had many Templates that inherit the strength of any character such as Madara Uchiha, Hashirama Senju, Indra Otsutsuki etc. The Angel spun the wheel which landed on None.

'None again. Has my luck already hit rock bottom.'

The Sixth wheel had many tools that assist in gaining or monitoring strength such as Devil Fruit, Gamer System etc. The Angel spun the wheel which landed on Status Screen.

'Its not bad but there were many better ones as well. Is my luck really that bad?'

The Seventh wheel had many Weapons and Artifacts that such as Kusnagi, Yamato etc. The Angel spun the wheel which landed on None.

'None again. My luck sucks.'

The wheels from behind the angel suddenly disappeared, signifying the end of the Gacha Gamble.

"Now tell me your wish. If you have enough Karma you can get it."

Kenichi already had one but he needed to confirm it.

"Will I have my memories?"

"No"

"Then let me regain my memories at the age of 4 but only my memories."

'I was no one special before this so the only things valuable are my memories and information.'

The Angel once again waved his hand which by this point seems like a show off gesture to Kenichi, reminding him of the few annoying Chinese novels that always had it.

"That's easily done and only a tiny portion of it is left. Anything else?"

"I want schematics of all technology that can be accessed from my status screen."

"Only till 2020. Now your Karma has all been used up."

As he said that a gate opened from behind Kenichi.

"Exit through this gate and you will be on your way to reincarnation."

"Thank you!!"

Kenichi thanked the angel and then exited through the gate also called the 'Gate of Reincarnation'. This was the start of his story in the Ninja Universe.
