CH 8: Let's Begin

After a few minutes, Sebastian, Igor who was in his armor, and Diablo were standing inside a cold enclosed room.

Inside the room, there was an altar, on which all the equipment for the summoning were laid.

[Sebastian, I know about some of these equipment in front of me but what is that faceless body like thing in front of me?]

Within those equipment, there was a faceless body laid on the altar. Which confused both Diablo and Igor standing there.

"Actually Your Majesty, from my research on the Abyss. It is better to summon a transparent or a spectral being like a ghost from there. So I created this body with the help of God of Blacksmith for the summoned being to possess this body."

[But why a spectral being?]

"You see Your Majesty, we don't know what the thing from the Abyss would do If It summoned from there. So I created this body which would allow the spectral being from Abyss to use almost all of It's potential and will also act as a chain which will keep the summoned under our control with the strongest slave tattoo which I created on the neck of the body. It is after all better to be careful than sorry and I also added a translation spell on It which will allow us to communicate with the summoned being. Of course, If 'It' would have any intelligence to communicate."

There was one thing that Sebastian didn't told Diablo and Igor. It was that he had to use almost all the collection of his extremely rare materials to create this body.

'It really hurts me when ever I thought about how almost all my collections were spent in a single body for the summon. But I can't tell anyone about this since If somehow my King found about this, Diablo might again blame itself. As everyone know how I care about my collections. Oh well, If this plan became a success It would be worth of an investment for our safety.'

[Will we be able to make a connection to the Abyss, safely?]

When Sebastian heard his King's question, he saw that the eyes of his King were focused on four slightly floating crystals which were in different colors from each other.

"Your Majesty, as your friend in Elnor had sent us these exact copy of the crystals which those Origin gods had used to summon the Hero and his party, I think we should be able to make a connection with the Abyss."

Elnor was the name of the mountain located just below the Origin in which one of the Diablo friends God of Blacksmith lived.

He was the one who informed them first about the Hero and also send the copies of the summoning crystals, which he had created for the Origin gods, to Diablo.

He also created the body for the summon on the request of Sebastian without asking any questions.

Normally Origin gods would had punished him for these but even the King of all Origin gods respect his works. So Origin gods fear to make their King angry on them and have his wrath descend on them.

[I'm really grateful for him. As he is helping us even in these times. But will he be alright?]

"You don't have to worry my King, as long the Origin King is there, I don't think that anyone has any guts over there to do anything to him."

As Igor assured the Diablo, Sebastian began to perform preparation for the summon. By taking a jar filled with some red liquid on the altar. Sebastian began to pour It around the altar in a circle and then began to wrote some weird looking words inside the circle with the liquid.

"What the hell is that?"

Now It was Igor who asked the question because he kept having a weird feeling from the jar ever since he entered the Altar Room.

"This is the blood of the Abyss King."

As soon Igor heard this, his eyes widened. But before he could say anything, Sebastian answered without stopping his work.

"And these words which I am writing right now are Abyss language. I was thinking that It will be better to use something as a catalyst to form a connection between our world and the Abyss."

"But is this really alright?"

Igor asked with a worried expression on his face since he didn't knew much about these stuffs.

"Truth to told, even I don't know If this will work or not. Since we didn't much about the Abyss after all. Everything I know right now about the Abyss is from the Abyss King."

In this world, nobody even knew the existence of Abyss. Until the Abyss King came. Everyone who knew were already dead before telling anyone about this.

Because of this Sebastian knew little about the Abyss. If they wanted they could summon a human as same as Hero and his party but as you could see, every member of Hero party were stronger than average knights of this world as soon they were summoned.

But their strength weren't as powerful as the Hero's. Meaning that the being summoned could be much weaker than the Hero.

It was just like a Gacha. And after a summon, It requires two or months for the summoning crystals to recharge and they didn't have that much time.

There was also the fact that would a human even help the Demon King despite their King's appearance.

It is highly possible that he or she would betray them by joining the Hero and his party. As for how were the Origin gods be able to summon a strong person as a Hero.

It was all due to the Goddess of Victory and Light who used her authority to summon a being who could give them a larger chance of victory.

Of course, the Hero and his party were not so strong enough to defeat the Demon King. They still were causing many casualties for them.

Thus Sebastian decided to summon from the Abyss since as far he knew there was no one who could have same effect as the authority as the Goddess of Victory and Light, on their side.

Thus they choose Abyss which had higher chance to summon a stronger being than the Hero. Even the Abyss King had said after his defeat that he was like a small fish in an ocean in Abyss.

So you could understand which choice was better. And Sebastian had also taken many precautions against any variable so, he considered It safe enough for them.

After making the whole summoning circle with Abyss King's blood, putting summoning crystals in their positions and other minor necessary steps, Sebastian asked Diablo.

"Your Majesty, I have prepared everything so now I want you to just put some of your Mana in the summoning circle from a distance to begin."

[Very well then, Let's begin.]

After saying that, Diablo raised it's arm and begin to send some dark colored Mana, which looked like some black mist, towards the summoning circle making the whole circle glow in red light.
