"Don't cry, and this is only the beginning. I promise in the future, and there won't be any pain like this again…." Jeremy grabbed Olivia's lips and kissed her as he brought her body closer together.

The long night seemed so long. Olivia cried and screamed until her throat hurt, her eyes hurt, and she went weak. Jeremy hugged Olivia's body, seeing if his wife had fallen asleep without waiting long after their romance.

Even so, Jeremy was still not satisfied. Like a traveler who walks a long time in the desert and finds an island, he continues to drink thirst without stopping.

Jeremy got up and took water and a wet cloth, cleaning up the mess he had made and Olivia's body sleeping on the bed undisturbed by Jeremy's light touch.

Jeremy was startled by the sobs of people in his arms and panicked. He got up and saw if Olivia was still closing her eyes, but she was crying so pitifully that she was sobbing.

"Cry... please... don't leave Olli, never again... Ollie is wrong... cry..."

Jeremy reflexively patted his wife on the back and pulled her closer into his arms before whispering.

"Relax... no one will leave you here as long as I'm around. No one will ever dare to hurt you..."

And as if like a spell, Olivia stopped crying even though the tears were still flowing. She regained her composure, and her breath rose and fell steadily.

Jeremy stared at the tearful face silently and wiped her tears.

He got up first, sat in the kitchen, and looked at the clock on the wall; it was 10 in the morning. And he got pretty astonishing news: there were intruders, assassins, and even a sniper. Persistent people. And now, he saw one incoming call on his cell phone from Ningning.

Jeremy was holding his phone and was lucky enough not to come out of the room. If Olivia hadn't held him back, there might have been a funeral for him today because a gunman had been sent to kill him.

Last night there was a commotion at the party; someone was found unconscious in the bathroom, and the man who shot at the event. Ningning apologized to the extent of compensating a lot for the commotion, and she didn't think a man with a firearm would pass the inspection before entering the hotel.

"I was sorry for the commotion last night, and I was shocked. If only the guards you gave the order to keep watch around the ballroom, there might be lives that disappeared last night. I'm very grateful to you, luckily the target was you and when it happened. You weren't at the scene, but from what I heard, the man was looking for you disguised as the person I sent to bring your wife a change of clothes."

Jeremy nodded. He had heard explanations from his subordinates about last night's incident and an assassin who came to his room under the guise of carrying Olivia's clothes which he had requested through Ningning.

"It's okay, and it's all settled. I also apologize that last night happened because the killer was after me and caused chaos in the party of colleagues who are very close to me to threaten. They don't want me to sit in Alan's CEO chair."

"Hahh... why are you always in such a dangerous situation? Please take care of your health because maybe they will target your wife later when you are careless and weak."

"Thank you very much, but I will make sure that Olivia will be safe in my protection."

"Don't be arrogant, Jeremy! Above you, there is still sky. In the sky, there is still space!--"

"And in space, there are planets, blah blah blah..." Jeremy continued retorting.

"I'm just reminding you of this basic. Then I'm done. I need to visit the hospital. Five people were shot in the arms, stomach, and legs. See you again." Ningning warned him.

When the call ends, Jeremy hangs up and waits for his secretary to bring a change of clothes for him and his wife while bringing a late breakfast. The hotel was too busy this morning, leaving only him and Olivia in the hotel under the watchful eye of their attendants.

When he heard the sound of crying, Jeremy turned around. His cold face broke into a worried look, remembering that his wife had cried a lot last night until she fell asleep exhausted.

Earlier, the sunlight sneaking shyly through the white translucent curtain woke Olivia on top of the messy white sheet, her white skin shining in the sun.

Olivia woke up with back pain and discomfort down there, it felt weird, and she suddenly felt lost. It was sad when she realized that something had disappeared from her but couldn't be seen. While hugging the blankets of the hotel room, Olivia started crying for this reason.

She was no longer a virgin, and her husband was not in bed, which was unfortunate. The longer it went on, it felt suffocating. Her sobs echoed in the room until the sound of footsteps and the door opening made Olivia startle and hide her face under the blanket.

"Olivia, what happened? Anyone else sick?!" Jeremy asked to see if his wife covered herself like a cocoon in a blanket. "Olivia..."

"Nothing, it's far away!" Olivia answered in a squeaky voice.

"But you cover your whole body like a cocoon. Don't you feel tight closing yourself like that?" Jeremy asked, slowly pulling up his wife's blanket.

"No, come out. I want to take a shower," Olivia shooed in vain.

Olivia was so embarrassed, but then she screamed because she pulled the blanket, and it wasn't long before Jeremy's face was visible before her eyes. The man smiled happily, looking very happy, but Olivia's face was getting redder because of it.

"No need to be ashamed. You will get used to it in the future," Jeremy said, carrying Olivia's body toward the bathroom.

Olivia had changed clothes. For the past half an hour, she was only wearing her husband's shirt without panties, and it was cold down there, while Jeremy was wearing nothing but his material pants used at the party last night.

She waited for breakfast before Jeremy came out after getting a message. The man returned inside carrying two paper bags and breakfast from a famous restaurant. They both eat without changing clothes first, said Jeremy so that after changing clothes later, they can immediately get out of the hotel.

"Eat slowly, don't mess it up," Jeremy said at breakfast 20 minutes ago while wiping the corners of her lips.
