"So… all of these demons were prisoners being held because they had committed crimes?" Aiden asked while narrowing his eyes.

"Oh, they are not just your normal prisoners being held for murder or theft or corruption." Aysel shook her head once before looking at the bodies. "Some of them are nobles, the ones who abused their powers too much. They started illegal businesses with their money while selling information that puts a direct danger on Drake."

Aiden's eyes slowly widened as he realized two things. One was that corruption could never be buried. No matter where it was. The second thing was that murders or theft were very small cases for the demons.

Yet if something major happened, the punishment served to the ones who committed the crime was in front of Aiden.

"If only some of them were nobles, what about the rest of them?"
