The Systems Bullshit Notification

Relaxing in his room Dino opened the system. however before he had a chance to speak, a notification popped up.

Seeing his new skill Dino was at a loss for what to say. It was true that during the conversation with Eddie and Jason that he'd had to stretch the truth a little, but he wouldn't call it bullshitting; it wasn't like he could tell them that he was a reincarnater with a system stuck in his head, that gifted him certain skills and abilities due to how much good karma he had from his past life. Though it didn't matter, it was another skill that would help him in the long run, so he just smiled and let it go.

Dino could have sworn he heard laughing but just decided to dismiss it.

'Tory, when do you think I should use the growth pills?'

[I advise host to use the pills when you're away from prying eyes. Host doesn't want to draw anymore attention than he already has.]

'Hmm you're probably right. So I should use them once I'm out of the facility?'

Just as Dino was about to further explore the system an explosion shook the facility.

The door to his room slid open revealing Eddie with a weapon in hand and blood running down his arm. The smell of blood and Eddie's injured form triggered the glow in Dino's eyes.

During the last week or so Dino and Eddie had become friends and seeing his friend in such a state ignited something ruthless inside Dino, without realizing he began to release killing intent.

"Cough….cough….Dino we need to get out of here. The base has been attacked." Despite being heavily injured Eddie was still standing.

The glow in Dino's became even more intense.

"Do we know by who?" he asked.

"….cough….. as of this…. Cough cough… moment no. We need to get out of here. Everyone else has either escaped…..cough… or is dead." Eddie answered while coughing up a dangerous amount of blood.

"Eddie sit down for crying out loud, you're injured." Dino said in a slightly annoyed tone.

"No we need to get out of here."

"And we will but we won't get anywhere with the state you're in." Dino spoke calmly.

Finally doing what he was told he sat down and rested.

'Tory, is there anything in the shop I can give Eddie, that will heal him?'

[Healing pills are available but if you use one on someone else host won't be able to access them again until a week later.]

'Okay, how about knock out pills?'

[They are also available but the same rules apply.]

Dino grabbed both pills out of his inventory and moved toward Eddie.

"Eddie take these, they're painkillers."

Eddie was in so much pain, he grabbed them and swallowed them without complaining. In the next moment the knockout pill kicked in making him slump in his chair. Soon after the healing pill kicked in and began to heal his wounds. The hard part now was trying to explain to him how he'd miraculously healed but he would deal with that when he needed too.

He took Eddie's gun holster and wore it, placing the weapon within. Putting his jacket on and placing Eddie over his shoulder. Dino stood before his door as it slid open. Taking a step forward. It was time to get the hell out of here.
