Healing properties

'It's day 8 you need to get ready to go. Me and the remaining gods have agreed to meet in districts you are in district 4 you'll be meeting at the park.'

"Alright." I say stretching. I drop and start doing push-ups until it's finished. Then go to pull-ups. 

'You're gonna need as many servants as possible if you want to survive a scout.' 

'Then i'll get my running done chasing after my servants.' I think calling my level 3 spreader. "Find a spreader, same level or higher." I say. Immediately the spreader starts sprinting so I chase after it. It runs for a mile before running down a hill into an elementary school playground. "No way it's infected little kids." I say following my spreader into the woods. "Come." I say the rest of my spreaders form around me following me. Pierce finally stops at a thorn bush screeching at it. I get my sword and start chopping the bush. 

'Be careful.' The god says.

"Yeah it's somewhere in here." I say in between swings. Then the lowest growling i have ever heard rumbles from the bush. I stop swinging. "That's not a level 4 or even 5." I say stepping away from the bush. "Surround the bush!" I yell. My spreaders run around the bush and charge into it. One flies out dissipating before my eyes. "Get it out!" I see a paw the size of my level three spreaders face step out of the bush. "This isn't good." I say to myself. Another spreader flies out of the bush. "Get back!" I say the rest of my spreaders totaling 6 compared to the 15 I started with. 

The spreader steps out of the bush. "Holy hell." I say my eyes going wide. It's huge compared to my other spreaders. I try and look for a level but can't see one.'

'It's a higher level than you.' The god says. 'That's gotta be the strongest spreader I've ever seen.' 

"I got this." I say to myself. "I only have a single level one spreader left which means if I sacrifice more spreaders it'll cut into actual numbers." I say looking for any weaknesses or past injuries. 'Did my spreaders do anything?!' I think getting ready to send the level one spreader at it as a distraction. "GO!" I yell the level one spreader starts sprinting at the big spreader dodging an attack and biting its back leg. I rush up and swing my sword slicing into its neck. 'It's done!' I think excited when the unmistakable sound of a sword snapping in two sticking the spreaders neck.

"WHAT?" I exclaim jumping back looking at my nub. The spreader crushes my level one spreader making its soul dissipate forever. "This isn't going well." I say.

'No no it is not, you don't have many more sacrifices left so there isn't much distraction you can do.' The god says. 

"Right but I can still send a level 2 out and use it." I say sending a level 2 again it sprints to the spreader but this time jumps and locks its jaws on the spreaders face. It howls in pain and tries to fling my spreader off but it holds on for dear life biting harder and harder. I run at the spreader with Pierce I grab the bit of my blade in the spreaders neck and pull it out. "Hopefully I hit an artery." I say. Pierce is biting at the other spreaders legs and side causing it to stumble and fall. It screeches a screech different from the other times I've heard these things screech. It's a low pitch kind of sounding like a scream. 

'That can't be good.' I think running at it with whatever remains of my sword. The spreader stands up and it's coat of fur is coated in thick maroon colored blood. 'Perfect.' I think. "PIERCE ATTACK IT'S NECK!" I yell immediately Pierce stops biting at its side and starts scratching at it's neck causing more of the blood to flow. Finally the spreader flings off the level 2 spreader revealing what's left of its face. It's a mangled bloody mess. I run at it with the tip of my sword and try to stab it in the face but it jumps back losing Pierce's grip in the process. 

It stumbles limping on the right side. 

'Its right side is weak and it's missing an eye this should be over soon.' I think when the blood starts to return back to the spreaders body. 'How in the. How does it have healing properties!?' I think surprised when it lunges at me. I leap landing on my side with a grunt. 'I have to kill it in one attack or else this fight'll either kill me or never end.' I duck when the spreader goes for another attack. It flies over me crashing into a tree snapping it in half. "THE SHOP!" I exclaim it opens and I look for weapons to use. "I NEED A SWORD!"

"WHAT?!" I yell jumping dodging another attack. Pierce goes in trying to bite the spreaders face but it easily swats Pierce away. "RETURN!" I yell, all my spreaders turn into a shadow and streak into my chest.

{You can afford a dagger} 

"Fine what dagger?" I ask.

{Iron dagger}

"I'll take it." I say. 

{Purchase complete}

A dagger materializes in my hand, it's much lighter than the sword I was using earlier. The spreader lunges at me again but this time I duck to the side and plunge the dagger into its side using its momentum to slash its entire side open. It screeches stumbling unable to catch its footing when I rush at it again stabbing the top of its head over and over again until it finally falls and it's soul rises from it's body.

"Rise."

"I need to level up maybe it'll increase the chance." I say to myself calling Pierce and sending him to kill as many level 2 spreaders as it can. "If I stay here maybe it won't despawn or whatever it does."
