[The Dungeon: Remnants of the massacre!! Part -1]

'I don't feel so good...'

The whole place gave me a weird feeling...There was something different in the air and the ground…

'Something's weird with this place...'

It took us 2 days but we managed to complete the journey… The Takashi Family members slowly started disappearing in the town as the head of their family was talking to Asuma-sensei…

"Wanna go around town, Tobi-kun" Ino-chan turned towards me and asked…

'Is she for real...'

"I dunno" I shrug as I look at Kurenai-Sensei with a questioning look.

"Yeah, you guys can go and enjoy the town but wait for us to get some rooms in an Inn okay..." I nod as Asuma-sensei came back while lightning another cigarette…

"So the client needs us to report here again in another 10 days so it looks like we have a vacation..."

"Asuma-Sensei, you promised to teach me the next exercise for wind nature manipulation..." I cut off his happy speech mid-sentence as I reminded him about my training…

He stared at me for a few moments before continuing… "Fine, I need to find a suitable location and I guess we can use that place to train while we are here...But first, we need a place to stay..."

After some roaming around the outskirts of the town, we arrived in front of a waterfall, Asuma-Sensei walked up to it and used a jutsu to create a bridge along its length…

"Come on up, Tobi!" He yelled from up the bridge made from Earth element jutsu.

I looked at him a bit weird but then jumped up on to the bridge and arrive beside him…

"Okay, you have learned how to use wind element chakra to sharpen your weapons, now what you need to do is make that chakra as sharp as possible...I want you to expel wind chakra so sharp that it cuts through the waterfall from the middle..."

Noticing my 'are-you-mad-fam' stare he placed both his hands on the surface of the waterfall then his hands expel wind nature chakra outwards and upward that cut the waterfall into 2 parts…

'Hmmm… this looks difficult' I place both my hands on the waterfall and try to do the same… The layer of water in front of me did partway, but only for a foot before the chakra dissipates and the water just flew all over the place and drenches me…

"Good luck with that!" Asuma-Sensei laughed as he jumped down and started to walk away from the clearing…

I sprayed the leftover water out of my mouth before looking around to notice what everyone was doing…

Shikamaru was basking in the sun and sleeping, Chouji was eating his snacks and talking to Shikamaru who apparently was not sleeping… Shino went into the forest a little while ago and was around 150m from us…

'Wonder what he is doing… looking for new bugs maybe...what are Ino-chan and Hinata-chan doing...' Both of them were huddled together and going over some scrolls…

'Nevermind...'

I look back at the waterfall and again tried to make it slice in two but this time I ground the chakra more onto each other to make it sharper, the cut in the waterfall went an Inch higher as a notification popped up…

'Finally...'

"TOBI-KUN!!!" I was startled from my training as I notice Ino-chan shouting from back at the shore… I notice that the sun was on the verge of going down the horizon and it was quite late… I jumped down from the bridge and walked on the river for a bit before arriving in front of her and Hinata-chan…

"I didn't notice it was this late..." I confess as I notice that my shirt was soaked, I was in the process of removing it and wear a new one when Ino-chan's scream stopped me…

"Kyaa!! TOBI-KUN!! You can't just take your shirt off in front of two maidens..."

I gave her a deadpanned stare and replied, "Then don't look..." I started to once again tried to take off my shirt as it was clinging to me and irritating me, she stopped me by holding my hand and dragging me towards the town…

"Come on, you need a change of style anyway! I'll take you shopping!"

"What! No!! I have plenty of clothes..." The rest of my protests were drowned out as one girl dragged me off and the other one shyly followed us...

'There is something off about this place...it is something familiar but what...' I was training on the waterfall again the next day but due to the weird feeling around me, I couldn't concentrate well… I look around and notice that everyone else was doing the same thing they were doing yesterday, except Kurenai-Sensei and Asuma-Sensei who were away from my sensory range at the moment.

'Hmm..the weird feeling is stronger there...' I jump off the bridge and started to follow my senses deeper into the forest I walked around and after going some 10km deep into the forest I arrive at the valley that was making my senses go haywire…

'So it was iron...I could totally work as an iron mine finder if I don't make it as a ninja...pfft' I laugh at my own joke as I still walked closer to the valley...Thick smoke was coming from the valley and foul-smelling steam was coming out of it… As I was walking towards it a notification stopped me in my tracks…
