------------Sasuke's POV--------------

I saw Tobi place went through some hand signs and placing his hands on his chest, before jumping back as he said, "Stay back Sasuke..." he then started to further examine Danzo's body as I look at the pale form of Dnazo's right shoulder… and the pale arm lying a few feet away...

'...is this the reason you forced the issue to the point of Massacre...'

Right before my eyes, I could still see multiple Sharingan eyes peeking from under its skin… My anger was soaring once again...

'It's been a while since I have been so angry...'

I look back to the time since I have started studying medical Ninjutsu... The focus required to use medical ninjutsu has made me more calm and in a habit of analyzing a situation before acting and that was the only reason I backed off at Tobi's shout…

'...was the Uchiha clan really revolting? But there could have been other ways to pacify the concerns of the clan?...'

The many questions that have been swirling inside my head since Tobi told me about the reason behind the massacre… I stood there impatiently as Tobi was using fuinjutsu on Danzo's body…

"It's now safe Sasuke..." I walked in front and stared into Danzo's eyes…

"Why..." No matter how much I wanted to say I was emotionally exhausted by the events of the day so that was the only thing that came out of my mouth in the end…

Danzo looked grim for a second before he said, "because you Uchiha's a curse on this village, you are cancer that has..." I gave in to my rage for the first time in months and sucker-punched him back into the wall…

'I need answers dammit...'

"Is it true Itachi was ordered by you to kill the Uchiha..." He looked into my eyes as he coughed and stood up as blood leaked from his busted lips…He then stared at Tobi and said, "...It seems like you somehow managed to get Itachi out of Kotoamatsukami..."

'...so everything was his fault then...' I gripped the sword harder in my hands as I was about to dash forward but a familiar hand on my shoulder stopped me…

'...Don't stop me now Kakashi-sensei...' he was done clearing out the bodies of the rest of the root operatives and now stood next to me… I was about to argue before Tobi said, "...Danzo, even if you did order Itachi to kill the coup there was no reason for him to kill the entire clan… just the leaders or opposite minded people would have proved enough… there was no reason to start a massacre..."

'...yes, why were the branch family killed… they didn't even have the Sharingan...'

Danzo scoffed as he just shut his mouth and glared at us… I punched him again, "Answer dammit..." he kept his mouth shut and just stared at the walls and I could feel my frustration increasing…He finally opened his mouth and said, "At least I'll take the last of you troublesome lot with me..."

The seals surrounding the room started fading and I could once again mold chakra…

'Finally… I'm gonna shove a Chidori in you, you bastard...'

Lightning crackled in my right arm as I let go of my sword as I was about to dash forward when Tobi shouted, "Sasuke! Step back!" He flung himself at me and Kakashi-sensei and dragged us back as Black ink started erupting from Danzo's body…

'...what just happened...'

The entire area in a sphere around Danzo was broken down and destroyed as his dead body landed in a pit…

'Dammit no...' I was getting frustrated at the sudden change in the situation as Kakashi-sensei once again tapped my shoulder to get me out of my daze…

"You need to focus on the mission Sasuke..." his voice was gentler than normal as I nodded and Tobi jumped into the pit to examine Danzo's corpse while I decided to head towards one of the root operatives who was caught in the explosion…

'The body took no damage but...' I was sure even my expression contracted as Kakashi-sensei asked, "What happened Sasuke?"

"They all are dead… no heartbeat..." I look around at almost all of the root operatives bare a couple of them who were caught in the sealing…

"It was a sealing Jutsu..." Tobi said as he finished examining Danzo's corpse and shook his head, "What a way to go… I'm sorry that you didn't get the answers to your questions Sasuke but you can ask them to Itachi when you meet him… we need to focus on the mission..."

'...that's right Itachi...' I was feeling those confusing emotions again but this time they were a little clear… '...You have a lot to answer for...Itachi-nii'

"...Let's move Sasuke!" Kakashi-sensei was indicating me to get a move on as they started to go into the caves from where the extra root members came from… I dash forward into the cave and send another burst of chakra into my eyes…

'Still, there was no reason to kill off everyone in the clan… was Itachi controlled to kill them as well, or did he kill the rest of them as well...'

"I can sense multiple chakra signatures ahead, but they look to belong to small kids..." Tobi shared his recon with us as we changed direction towards a particular area…

"There are 16 kids in these rooms, 2 in each room and they seemed to be armed..." Tobi said as he slowly opened the gate and entered the room proper…

'...what...'

"It seems like we are not the last of our clan after all Sasuke..." Tobi said in a tight voice but my eyes were focused on a familiar pair of dark red eyes with a single tomoe in each eye glaring at us…
